Cabin is small, cozy and clean. Full bed and single downstairs. Ladder loft has space for 2. dry cabin. No running water or bathroom in cabin but a mermaid outhouse nearby and a summer outdoor hotwater shower and coldwater sink. Shared fire pit. Wood is available,water nearby on property. Please register pets as they require an additional cleaning fee. 1 or 2 pets kept on leash and never left unattended. Please pick up after. TY Close to Kenai River, mtns and coast. Very relaxed and casual here!

Relax at this comfortable apartment on our 25-acre ranch home. The apartment has a private bedroom, living area with a queen sofa bed, full kitchen and bathroom, and it's own private entrance and patio. This is a quiet, secluded area where we often see moose and sandhill cranes. We are just a 10-minute drive to Soldotna and fishing on the Kenai River and just a 20-minute drive to the Cook Inlet or the Russian River. Peaceful Funny River retreat!

Peaceful and secluded, far enough away from town that it is quiet, but close enough for supplies, dining etc. We loved staying at this cabin, very cozy, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beds and couch was very comfortable. We would absolutely book this stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Fishing close by was what we came for and that's what we got. The house was super comfortable to stay in. While we didn't see any moose we saw signs of them in the yard. Fun!

THIS IS A FISHING CAMP No frills. Bed and hot shower. We slept there and went fishing. Least expensive in the area, centrally located came in handy when the Russian River didn’t produce, we found a nearby run of salmon. Adventure camp, rustic, primitive, but gorgeous. Pattie has 60 years of knowledge if you need help finding fish. Great father son bonding place.

I love staying at the Birch Tree Cabins! Andy is always very helpful and responsive. This was our second stay at Birch Tree Cabins. The first time we stayed in the Moose Cabin and this year we tried the Wolf Den. Both cabins are wonderful and equipped with everything we needed: range, microwave, coffee maker, and hot water for those much needed hot showers after a rainy day! Thank you Andy for another great stay!

Nice cabin. Was quite spacious. I was a bit worried beforehand that it would feel a bit cool because it looked quite dark in the photos. In real life it was also a bit dark due to the location between trees, but it didn't feel that way at all. It actually felt very warm and cozy.

We recently stayed at this dry cabin in Soldotna, AK, and it was a great experience! While it's a bit of a drive from town, the cabin more than made up for it with all the amenities provided. We were pleasantly surprised to find fishing poles, waders, and headlamps available for use, which added to our adventure. The cabin was well-stocked with firewood, and it kept the place warm and cozy throughout our stay. The outdoor patio was fantastic, with plenty of chairs to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There were also several jugs of water available, which made it easy to fill up at a nearby gas station. We found a good fishing spot at Rotary Park, which was about 20 minutes away. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a rustic, well-equipped getaway in Soldotna. It exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again!

The location and cabin was very nice and quiet. If you are looking for a peaceful and scenic location away from the hustle and bustle of town life, this is the place. Linda, the hostess was most informative and helpful. Its clear they really care about their patrons.
