It is a hideaway-like private building, a modern renovation of a traditional Japanese warehouse from about 150 years ago. The traditional Japanese warehouse, "Kura", is characterized by a wooden frame, solid earth walls, and small windows. This historic building was once used as a warehouse to store kimono sashes. After enjoying sightseeing during the day, please relax and unwind while soothing your fatigue. The first floor has a spacious living room, dining room, and kitchen, and the second floor has a large bedroom. You can relax in a quiet space that feels like a basement, drinking a drink with a simple snack, or reading a book and forgetting about time. The first floor of this building is a facility where you can experience archery, called "Hankyu", which is very rare in Japan with only a few places to experience it. We offer it at a special rate for our guests, so please experience traditional Japanese culture! Matsumoto is a compact, historic town. There are tourist attractions such as Matsumoto Castle, as well as cafes and restaurants that are popular with young people, so you can enjoy walking around the city. Feel free to ask me anything!

A pleasant stay for Your Hakone exploring!

My house is located 5min. on foot from Hakone Itabashi Station. It's a very convenient location to go to HAKONE area. It is 11min. by train to Hakone Yumoto station, It's gateway of HAKONE area. There is also a supermarket 3min.walking distance. And Odawara Castle is a 15min. walk away. My house is a unique Japanese cypress bath like a luxury inn. Also there is a washlette toilet and a washing machine. Considering cleanliness first,I will order the professional shop for sheets cleanig for bed.

We built this building as Annex of Yasuragiso(Traditional Japanese inn),thinking "We want you to thoroughly enjoy Mt.Fuji" and "We want you to spend a relaxing and private time". Next door is an old shrine and nature, which is very quiet. The lake can also be reached on foot. There are also several restaurants, convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. It's very convenient for sightseeing in Fuji Five Lakes. We have a free parking & Rental bicycles .
