We are 1 kilometer away from the nearest neighbor and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. This is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In the cold season, you MUST additionally heat with the fireplace!

In the middle of the beautiful Hunsrück, in the castle town of Kastellaun, you will find our lovingly furnished apartment, which offers enough space for 2 adults seeking peace and quiet with its approx. 80 m². The associated sauna offers you a private wellness experience. Our apartment has a large living/dining area, a separate fully equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom with shower and sauna as well as a bedroom with box spring double bed (180 × 200 cm).

The 13th century castle sits above the village of Gemünden, also called "the pearl of the Hunsrück". The beautiful and spacious rooms offer plenty of space and peace and a unique historical experience. Thanks to the thick castle walls, it is also pleasant and of course cool in high summer. On the castle terrace under the Linden, you can relax and enjoy the view of the opposite Soon Forest. Perfect for family holidays or with friends and colleagues.

You can expect a cozy, approx. 25 sqm room with private bathroom. A small kitchen is available in the garden. Mosel 15 km, Geierlay suspension bridge 20 km. The house is located in a small place with only 300 inhabitants in a quiet side street. In the immediate vicinity is the village fountain. In summer, cows graze with their calves a few meters from the house. Your apartment is about 55 square meters and suitable for up to 4 adults. Parking is available right in front of the house. It's just a few hundred meters to the forest or the nearest hiking trail (Klingelflos dream loop).

You'll love my place because it offers outdoor space close to nature, and is largely furnished in the 50s style, the construction period of the house. My place is close to hiking trails in the forest and nature, the Geierlay suspension rope bridge in Mörsdorf, which opened in 2015, an animal adventure park in Bell and the castle town of Kastellaun. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.
