Vacation rentals with a kayak in French Polynesia

We had an amazing 3-night stay with Nicolas & Honey. The house is beautifully decorated and cozy, with plenty of relaxing spots like hammocks and beach chairs. The private beach is just steps away, and the view of the water from the kitchen and back porch was incredible. The property felt very secluded and peaceful, with friendly dogs and well-kept grounds. A huge plus was the A/C — not common everywhere and made for super comfortable nights. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, which made things easy since there aren’t many dining options on the island. Laundry was also convenient. Nicolas was an awesome host — he offered to take us snorkeling on his boat and gave us a tour of his nearby vanilla farm. Both he and Honey were welcoming, kind, and respectful of our space. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back if we get the chance!

This is a lovely bungalow and Tahia is a great host. Short walk to a private beach. Well located in the island with short drive to beautiful public beaches, Cooks Bay, etc l. Home was very well stocked with all amenities you would need. 100% recommended if your travels bring you to Moorea!

Logement en tout point conforme à la description, très bien agencé, équipé et entretenu ainsi qu’idéalement situé dans un bel écrin de verdure avec une vue imprenable sur Moorea. Séjourner chez Mireille et Didier est une valeur sûre, je recommande vivement. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur accueil, leur bienveillance, leurs bons conseils, leur disponibilité et surtout leur gentillesse.

nous avons vraiment apprécié nos 3 jours a Raiatea dans cette belle et agréable maison proche d’Uturoa.les espaces de vie , les chambres et salles de bain sont grands et très propres. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons apprécié la pièce et vie ouvrant grand sur la terrasse avec vue sur Bora Bora et le coucher de soleil ! Vairau et Raimana sont très sympathiques et prévenants. leurs conseils nous ont ete très utiles ( locationde voiture, restaurants, snorkeling...). Un atout important : c’est le lagon juste a 5 mètre de l’ autre côté de la route ou l’on peut admirer des coraux et poissons magnifiques ! des kayaks sont mis a disposition pour aller jusqu'au motu presque en face. Bref, une très belle expérience que nous recommandons avec enthousiasme !

Rangiroa is certainly more rustic and basic than other places in Polynesia but that's also part of the charm. George's place is no exception but it was certainly well equipped and full of welcome. There were only two of us so aircon only in one room wasn't an issue. We cooked for ourselves most of the time and could find enough in the local shops to make that work. We did eat out once and it was good to support and connect with the local community but don't expect fine dining 🤣 George communicated with us frequently with helpful tips and we never felt alone at all. We spent a lot of time enjoying the sun and water at the property. Sharks frequently swam by and we did try a bit of kayaking and snorkelling but there wasn't a huge amount to see, even when the waves were more calm. We equally enjoyed the night sky after returnung from watching the sunset at the pass down the road. We certainly feel we hit lucky with this place and would definitely recommend it.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich unmittelbar am Strand. Man hat einen eigenen Zugang und eine erhöhte Terrasse mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den Strand und das Meer. Wie beschrieben, ist die Unterkunft sehr offen gestaltet. Das muss man mögen. Gerade nachts ist dadurch alles sehr hellhörig. Wichtig zu betonen, dass die Mücken nicht so schlimm sind, wie vermutet, obwohl ich sonst immer starke Probleme habe. Der Mückenschutz über dem Bett ist dennoch sehr hilfreich. Unutea ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Wir wurden nett empfangen und sie hat uns direkt angeboten, uns zum naheliegenden Supermarkt zu fahren. Ihr liegt das Wohl ihrer Gäste am Herzen.

Our stay on Raiatea was incredible. The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning sunsets and peaceful sunrises you can enjoy right from bed. Having kayaks and life jackets available made it easy to snorkel and explore the ocean at our own pace. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything we needed, and the space was thoughtfully prepared in every way. AC and fan, plus screened windows to keep the bugs out, kept us very comfortable and cool. Mick was a friendly and welcoming host. We had a great conversation while watching the sunset, which made the experience feel even more special. While there’s a lot to do on the island, we found ourselves just loving the quiet moments and the stunning views. When the weather wasn’t ideal, we appreciated being able to use Mick’s pool. This is the kind of place that reminds you what Airbnb is all about. Hands down, the best and most memorable (in the best way) stay we’ve had. We hope

Tamati et sa maman sont très gentils, réactifs et accueillants. Ils font tout pour que le séjour se passe bien et plus encore. La maison est très jolie, bien équipée et la plage devant est juste fantastique. La douche est vétuste mais elle va être changée dans la semaine ☺️ Ce sera un vrai "plus" pour faire de cette maison un lieu de vacances idéal. Rien à redire, il faut venir 😉

This was the perfect place for our stay in BoraBora. Host was VERY accommodating and responsive. House was modern, clean and comfortable with a great deck and small pool for cooling down. Location is superb being just a block from beautiful Matira beach. We will definitely be back.

Parfait séjour passé chez Marie. Jocelyn, qui nous a accueilli, a été très réactive, flexible et amicale. Elle nous a même été d’une grande aide. Le logement est juste incroyable ! Propre, vue parfaite, calme, avec tout le confort nécessaire. En bonus des kayak à disposition. Nous recommandons fortement ce logement.

Si vous séjournez à Moorea, allez sans hésiter chez Maea ! Ses bungalow sont situés sur la plage non loin de la baie dans laquelle sont situés les bungalows sur pilotis du Sofitel. C’est un véritable coin de paradis. Vous serez à 2 min de voiture de la plus belle plage de l’île. Les logements sont dans le style polynésien, dépaysement garanti !
