I would definitely book this place again. The location was perfect, the scenery from outside the balcony and seeing that view everyday in the morning and night was beautiful and overall the amenities and services given and provided were great. What I loved the most about this place was the location, it was a walking distance to QT CBD where we did quite a few activities and attractions such as the “Skyline Gondola and Luge”, “KJet Boat Ride”, “Fear Factory”, “Ice Bar” just to name a few popular things to do in QT and many more. Although, there was one thing I disliked about the area was the driveway. There is a steep hill to get to the place so if you decide to drive in definitely wouldn’t recommend a big car especially when the road is wet as it could be a struggle for some people driving up the hill. Other than that, nothing else I could dislike about the place besides the steep driveway. Thanks to the host team for accommodating us and being super responsive.

We highly recommend this accommodation! From start to finish, Tom, our host, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfectly tailored to our stay. We were warmly welcomed with a thoughtful gift, and Tom checked in regularly to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The unit itself was spotless, cosy, and warm, a true home away from home. And the views..OMG.. Absolutely breathtaking easily the best in Queenstown! Every detail was carefully considered, making our holiday truly relaxed and stress-free. A heartfelt thank you to Tom and the entire hosting team for such a memorable experience!

We are a couple in our late 30's who were looking for a quiet location we could go in and out of and have time to chill out comfortably if needed. Lake Hayes was a great location as its right next door to Arrowtown and just 25 minutes from Queenstown waterfront. It's a great gateway to all the towns like Cardrona, Wanaka, Cromwell, Gibbston, Lake Tekapo etc. A great alternative to Queenstown. Peter and Jilly are lovely hosts and have a beautiful home overlooking what looks like an oil painting landscape! There are trees and rolling hills and gardens and birdsong, frost in the chilly mornings, and snow capped Coronet peak - it was just a stunning location. Their house is modern and has beautiful high ceilings and is well equipped with everything you need.

We really appreciated having a clean, convenient space for our 2 night get away to the city. We are from the states staying in Twizel but wanted to come to the city for a few nights. The place was perfect with all the amenities. Great for kids. Loved the balcony views! Can’t beat it!

Tim’s place was absolutely stunning! The views are incredible and the home is the perfect size. We’re a young family with a toddler and the space was excellent, the front deck overlooking Shotover was a great spot to burn toddler energy. It was easy to find, Tim’s directions were clear and easy to understand. Close to Queenstown itself but also to Arrowtown which was perfect.

The house is really close to downtown, although there is a steep hill walking up if you have no cars. It is equipped with so many cooking utensils and seasonings for cooking, that what I love the most! Also, You can see lake wakatipu from windows.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The host is friendly and always quick to reply and eager to help. During my trip, I had a small unexpected issue, and the host went out of their way to assist me. I really appreciated their kindness and support. The apartment itself is well-organized, and very comfortable. It had everything I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, as well as a washing machine and dryer. I would love to stay here again if I return to the area:)

Emma's hospitality was the best I have ever seen she is kind and very accommodative the place was clean and feels home away from home. recommend this property to anyone who is looking forward to stay in queenstown for a holiday trip

We had an amazing stay! The lake view from our place was absolutely stunning. The location was super convenient—so close to the airport and major supermarkets like Pack’n Save. Check-in and check-out were the easiest we’ve ever experienced. The interior was beautifully designed and made our stay feel extra special. We spent three nights here during my dad’s 60th birthday trip, and my parents loved it so much that we’re already talking about coming back. Everything was spectacular!

This is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! The house is absolutely stunning—spacious, immaculately clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay so comfortable. This is a truly beautiful home and now our second stay! We love the views, location, the jet boats passing through and all the wildlife the natural environment provides. We prefer to commute to town on the water taxi to avoid the busy traffic. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home.

The house was perfect for spending a month in Queenstown and experiencing all the best it has to offer. Really great views and location, while also feeling very homely. Leonie and Steph were wonderful hosts who were responsive and understanding. Check in and our whole stay was a breeze thanks to them. Overall, truly deserving of a 10/10 in my books.

We enjoyed our stay at Elles home very much! It is very cosy, and has all the expected amenities inside. Jacks Point clubhouse is a short walk away, and has nice food and coffee. The scenery around Jacks Point is absolutely stunning and we will be back!

We loved our stay at McKerrow Place in Queenstown. Sharlene could not have been more helpful and was a wonderful host. The house was (is) superb with a great set up for our family get together. The views over the lake are breathtaking and the house is set up for you to relax into those views. A very special place - made for a magic family holiday - thak you Sharlene we loved it !!

We could not have loved Wanaka and this condo more! Everything was so clean, located close to the town area, and Alex & Jesper were wonderful hosts! It was 3 days of bliss for us. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Great location, walkable into town and close to bus stop. The house was lovely and warm, comfortable beds and the view was stunning. Melissa was a clear communicator and thank you again for the early check in.

Excellent stay with Kate. Her place is thoughtfully decorated with expansive mountain views and felt like home in Wanaka immediately. Great outdoor balcony overlooking the ranges which a BBQ to enjoy some food and drinks. Kate was an incredible host proactively offering baby essential items for our little one, answering questions we had within minutes, checking in to see how I stay was. The property was kept in immaculate condition, place felt brand new with modern amenities like aircon, heating in all rooms and exceptionally clean which was really important for us travelling with a baby and the wider complex had excellent amenities like tennis courts, spa and gym which was an added bonus for an Airbnb. Highly recommend and great place for a family or anyone to come back home after a day venturing in and around Wanaka

We had the most incredible stay! The place was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything we needed — and more. The highlight was definitely the amazing hot tub overlooking stunning snow-capped mountains—such a dream to soak and unwind with that view. Fiona and Michael are truly the kindest and most thoughtful hosts — so warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. We felt completely at home. I totally recommend this place to anyone visiting — it’s an unforgettable experience!

Location is great with private parking so you don’t have to worry about finding one far away and shifting luggages. The place I clean and near most of the needed amenities, beautiful surrounding and walking distance to the lake. Full function kitchen with no restriction of what are allowed to be cooked. Jane is a wonderful host ensuring our safe arrival and proactively helped us check on the status of the road closure, ensuring our safe arrival. We were greeted with a warm welcome, chocolate and a pre warmed house. :)

Our favourite accommodation of our NZ trip, everything was excellent! I can't decide if my favourite feature was the super comfortable bed and linen, the heated bathroom floor or the sensor light for the bathroom! Carolyn was great with communication and very helpful. Highly recommended, we will definitely stay here if visiting this area again.

Ideal place for walking into Arrowtown, where restaurants and walking tracks only 20 mins walk. Beds were very comfortable and warm. Heat pump was always a winner on those cold mornings . So quiet, I didn’t know Laura was next door with her lovely family. Washer/dryer worked well. No one likes to wash coming home after holidays. Thx again Laura, I will be back next year! Heather
