This place was perfect for a weekend get away. It’s the perfect distance from downtown south haven. If you are looking for a quiet place away from the downtown then this is the place you’re looking for. Bill was very nice to give us recommendations on what to do as well!

If you like a peaceful country setting with beautiful walking areas (among occasional passing goats too!) and a cozy woods cabin, this is the place for you. Only minutes from downtown Stoughton, warm generous hosts, and friendly neighbors.

I’ve been coming here since 2018 and it is my absolute favorite getaway from the business of the city. Comfortable furniture and bed, kitchenette is well stocked with supplies, and the rain shower is such a nice treat!! Jilly & KenBob are the friendliest hosts, and at this point feel like extended family. My dogs absolutely love running around the property with all the smells, woods to explore, and the river & lake to swim in. I could go on and on….its never goodbye, it’s see you next time!

So you want some peace and relaxation? Stop looking and book this cabin. Everything is exactly as described and shown in the photos. The drive to the cabin had me so happy with its beauty and then I pulled up to the cabin and just wow. It did not disappoint. I immediately texted Kara to let her know I was in heaven. The lovely welcome gifts were such a thoughtful touch. The instructions for the house along with nearby recommendations was emailed to me but there was also a copy right as you walked in if you needed it which was great! The suggestions she gave were perfect! The town we went to was only 15 minutes away and had pubs, a diner with a GREAT breakfast, grocery stores and an awesome ice cream shop. On the last day there we took the walk to the Mt Zion Pub. Be aware it’s mostly on a gravel road with some good hills. About 2.2 miles and the burger at the pub was earned and GOOD! Great cabin. Peaceful and gorgeous. Mental Reset achieved!

We had a wonderful, relaxinf weekend ar Jeff and Emily’s Cabin. The cabin itself is cozy and clean. There are huge windows to allow you to look out at the beautiful nature surrounding their farm. We really enjoyed using the firepit and relaxing on the grounds - it is far from a major road and felt very private. The hosts were responsive and introducd themselves, but also made sure to give us privacy and space to relax. I hope we can come back and visit soon!

This is such a beautiful home! Got the chance to unplug and feel right at home within the trees. Lots to do in the area too, went to the zoo, winery, and a brewery. Laurel was great and had a bunch of notes around the home that were super informative and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to slow things down and connect with nature.

We were looking for a quiet location, and we found it. The only noises we heard were bird song and the occasional sound of horse hooves going down the main street, pulling Amish buggies.

We had a wonderful stay! We hiked the dunes and enjoyed beach time. Both were a short drive away. It was private and comfortable, kind of like glamping. Our kids loved the games and books in our down time. Beds were comfortable, and the house really had everything you needed. Beach toys, chairs and bikes were very much appreciated. Thanks for a great stay!

I have stayed here numerous times, and every time I'm impressed! They have made several improvements over the years, and it can't be beat! We walked around the property, played in the tree house and swing, enjoyed the hot tub and patio. I wish it were summer, the pond is awesome! There is something for everyone here, and you will not be bored. The host, Jason, is super quick and responsive to anything you may need! Comfy beds & furniture throughout the home! The home is absolutely spotless, which is always appreciated. Highly recommend 5/5.

As another reviewer has written, I was so tempted to 'gatekeep' this magnificent property all to myself, because it was just that spectacular - but Suzanne and Charlie deserve every kudo for what they have created, so here I go..... I have never felt more at home in an Air B&B. This home has been so lovingly restored, and so thoughtfully appointed - and impeccably cleaned and maintained. Every single item you could hope to have at your disposal is not only present - but it's exactly where you would look for it to be, on the first try. I can't say enough about how thoughtful and intentional Suzanne and Charlie have been about creating this home. It's stunning, and has HAPPY energy - and heated floors in the bathroom! - and not a speck of dust anywhere. Clean, clean, clean and fresh. It felt like I was the first and only person who had ever been there. Suzanne and Charlie genuinely understand HOSPITALITY. I will 100% be back!!

This place is incredible! And staying on a farm was such a unique experience. We loved hanging out with the baby goats, walking around the property, grilling, cooking, and visiting cool places nearby. Everyone who works on the farm is super friendly and helpful and they took the time to make sure we had a great stay. We would definitely visit here again

We absolutely adored our stay! It is so peaceful and beautiful on the farm, which I love! The space itself is beautiful and has everything you could ask for! Marisa is kind, responsive, and a very welcoming host. I only wish I had more time to explore the farm more and see more animals. I definitely hope to return!

Super clean and adorable Airbnb! Linda was very responsive and flexible. The tiny home was stocked with lots of goodies. The land is clean and peaceful. They have space for a bonfire, outdoor seating and grill. So sad we only needed somewhere to sleep for the night - would have loved to hangout there for a few extra days! Definitely plan on staying here again when we come back to the area!

Close to State Park, Kickapoo kayaking/canoeing, 2 very good restaurants within 2 miles, house was immaculate with comfortable beds, plenty of linens and all the little touches of home that you normally don’t find at an Airbnb! Great stay and very pleasant, responsive host!!

Our stay at the cottage felt like a true retreat from the city. It honestly was more than we expected. The peaceful surroundings were like no other property we’ve stayed in. The home itself is beautifully built, thoughtfully decorated with all the needed modern amenities and spotless. The hosts were also welcoming and kind. We do hope to return!

Beautiful location & views, whether sunrise, sunset or stargazing. Peaceful & quiet. The kitchen appliances, utensils, outdoor grill, and stores in Richland Center (special mention for Richland Center Locker) make this a great place for people who like to cook their own meals. Beds and furniture left us rested and relaxed. Hope for clear skies during your stay so you can stargaze with minimal light pollution and listen to the coyotes and barred owls around the fire pit. Having a washer and drying was great especially after a busy day hiking, on the water or whatever way you enjoy the Driftless region. Thanks, Gloria & Jeff.

This is a great place to stay. On a working farm but so private and peaceful. House was well maintained and equipped. Just a short drive to Oconomowoc. We loved our stay.

My family and I had such a fantastic stay at the Horsemeister Foaling Apartment! Judy, our wonderful host, was always easy to communicate with before and during our visit. The apartment itself was beautifully furnished and spotless—seriously impressive given that it’s on a working horse farm, with no dirt or dust at all. It was just the right place for us to stay overnight for a family event nearby. The highlight (especially for this horse-loving girl, haha) was getting to interact with Judy and her horses. She kindly showed me around the farm, sharing stories about the land and her family's history. I loved meeting each of the horses personally—absolutely magical! Judy also took me to see their amazing "Barndominum" event space, which features a full indoor basketball court, a spacious kitchen, plenty of dining space, and several bedrooms and bathrooms—it’s truly impressive! Judy, a big thank you for your warm hospitality and for making us feel like part of the family. Hugs!!

We had a great time at Ollie's place! It was super comfortable and cozy, just the right size for our family of four. We even lucked out and got to tag along on a tour of the farm and Ollie gifted us a dozen farm fresh eggs! Thank you for making our weekend lovely.

Wish we knew about this jem when we lived in chicago. Came back to enjoy power tour 2025 and house was quiet and nice to relax from all the driving from brownsville tx. The basement hangout was so cool. We w definitely stay again. They even left us items to make breakfast unfortunately we had to leave but it was nice if them. U dont need much it was all there except for food but walmart was about 10 mins away town is super cute and friendly. Thank u for the great stay

I had such a wonderful stay at this charming location. It truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I could see how much thought and care had gone into every detail. The rooms were beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. Each space had its own unique character, and it’s clear the host put a lot of effort into making the decor both stylish and comfortable. Everything was spotless, the amenities were thoughtfully provided, and communication with the host was smooth and easy throughout.
