Welcome to "Pouso": for those looking for comfort, simplicity and a unique experience in a traditional Mongolian yurt, hidden away on a 4 hectare olive and cork farm. This tranquil and Romantic escape is surrounded by nature and the singing of birds, the tinkling of sheep bells and the gentle rustle of the cork oak leaves. Situated within the São Mamede Natural Park, from Pouso you can walk up a medieval track to the hilltop town of Marvão where "one can see the entire land" (José Saramago).

Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. The rustic-style house features the necessary amenities for an invigorating holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where even time seems to take longer to pass. Hope you like it!

Beautiful and very comfortable Chalés, with a breathtaking view of the city of Portalegre , a magnificent Sunset accompanied by the singing of the birds and the tranquilizing sound of the waters that cross this farm, we are inserted in the Natural Park of Serra de S. Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.
