We are very respectful of your privacy, and all of the facilities are yours to use. Sit out on the large covered porch and enjoy the view, or visit with our livestock. We are pet-friendly. This funky container home apartment is the upstairs of a larger home with it's own separate entrance on almost half an acre. Being on the outskirts of town, yet less than a mile from the town center allows for magnificent star viewing from the rooftop deck. A mini-fridge, coffee maker, teapot, and the basics are available. No kitchen. This place is special, but it’s also rustic in a funky way. It has its quirks so if you want a standard hotel room type place, this IS NOT for you.

We sit on Dolores Mountain overlooking the Chihuahuan desert. U must like a little dust, stars and dirt roads to like The Roadhouse .There’s no other place quite like it that looks over the desert and to the mountains beyond. We are in the country and on a dirt road yet only 1 mile from the beautiful downtown Fort Davis, The Fort and restaurants. The cabin has many antiques and is comfortable with a small front porch. It is the bottom cabin as our personal cabin is the top cabin.

Etta's Getaway

This is our weekend getaway house. It's a 2-bedroom A-frame on 6 acres about 10 minutes south of Alpine. We LOVE this house and want to share it Airbnb guests. There are 2 queen beds in their own bedrooms, a queen pullout sofa and a twin bed (or at least there will be). The kitchen is totally awesome with single-serve espresso machine and everything you need to make a delicious dinner or breakfast. Oh yeah, and there is an AMAZING hot tub under the stars.
