Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Forest County

My family group of 13 was very impressed with the beauty of the accommodations and the area. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and concerns. The kitchen was so well stocked and we ate in for most meals, except of course for the traditional WI Friday night fish fry! We had plenty of room for our group and everything was nice and clean. And the bakery they bought for us was a nice touch. I would recommend this property to anyone.

An excellent place to stay, and can really knock down the price on a large getogether for a group of people looking for something fun and secluded deep in da Northwoods of Wisconsin. Would likely come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming lakeside cottage! It was the perfect spot for a slow-paced family getaway. The cottage is nestled right by the lake, providing stunning views and a serene atmosphere. We spent our days lounging by the water, enjoying peaceful walks around the area, and simply unwinding from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you're looking for a place to relax and take a break, this is the ideal spot. Beautiful setting in a quiet section of the lake. The house is very well set up for families. Kitchen and appliances are clean and functional. Really enjoyed our stay.

I booked this cabin for a much needed weekend get away for me and my family and it exceeded expectations. Upon arrival we were blown away by the beauty of the property and we felt right at home from the get-go. The party consisted of 6 adults and 4 kids and there were so many activities to keep busy the 3 days we stayed. We enjoyed the pontoon boat, kayaks, canoes, and the area off the dock was great for swimming. The cabin is well stocked with everything needed to make delicious meals every day. Brooke is very quick to respond to any questions you might have during your stay. We had an absolute blast and will definitely be returning!

You can stay here with confidence, the owners were friendly and very responsive. This is a place if you just want to get away from everything. The lake is beautiful and so peaceful. I won’t hesitate to book this again. It is remote so putting some miles on to do different things is a normal for the area. The nearest grocery store is also spotless and I wish we had that store. The water of the lake is so clear and clean you can see at least 10 feet down. We drove 11 hours one way and wasn’t disappointed. Excellent vacation home.

Our family had the vacation we hoped for - peaceful, relaxing, fun, and in touch with nature. The fishing was good, the family of bald eagles next door a treat, and we enjoyed hours of quiet time on the dock, on the spacious deck, and in the well-appointed cabin. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating, generous with their time, and regularly checked in with us to see what else they could do for us to make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a place to unwind!

Great spot to spend a long weekend! The pontoon boat was clean and easy to use, and the other boats were a great perk as well. It was a little chilly while we were there, so we spent a day hiking and bouldering (there are some really cool spots within a 45 minute drive.) we were a group of 6, and while it was a smaller space, it worked just fine for us. Definitely would go back!

Another wonderful visit to the cabin. Heard loons this time! Beautiful location & lovely cabin. Fly fishing was good. Nancy is highly responsive and very easy to contact.

We had a wonderful time off grid. Beautiful surroundings. Being from the south, We even got to enjoy snow! Cabin was perfect. Donna thought of everything. Very helpful with directions and making sure we understood how to work everything. I would definitely reccomend for anyone wanting to get away from the every day hustle or just needing time to reconnect.

We only had one situation where we texted Chad and the situation was handled quickly and appropriately. Everything we needed was there and there is a cute little laundromat in Laona. The attendant was very helpful, it is very small, only seven or eight washers/dryers. There's a trail in the Woods and we were able to take our pups walking, also in the yard beside the house we were able to play fetch with them. The hous is small, like a cabin and very cozy. It was perfect for the two of us and our ninety pound service dog and thirty pound Golden doodle. Would recommend!

We rented this house for the week and it was exactly what we were hoping for. It was well stocked but still plenty of room for our own food. There was plenty of beds and bathrooms so no one felt crowded but also had great common spaces. The basement was perfect. The weather was rainy and cold most of the time but we didn’t even mind. The kids still fished and we took lots of slow, relaxing rides around the lake. We rented a pontoon that was delivered right to the lake. Highly recommend. The lake itself was so quiet. We met the neighbor and some locals at Kippy’s (excellent fish fry). Spent time in Crandon and otherwise just RELAXED!!
