Deze erkende vakantiewoning (***) bevindt zich op het gelijkvloers van ons huis uit de jaren 1890 in een rustige straat in het centrum van Gent. Ideaal voor koppels. Op 75meter afstand is er al een populair restaurant, bovendien meer keuze op 350meter afstand in het Patershol. Talrijke winkels nabij. De ruimte is ruim (70m²) en er is een buitenplaats om afval te plaatsen. Private toegang tot de studio. Enkel de gang is gedeeld met mijn gezin. Absolute stilte wordt gevraagd van 10 pm tot 6 am.

'The Panter' is a 39m boat from the 60ies. Used for years in transport, it is now tastefully transformed into a loftboat. The front of the boat is entirely yours and has a private entrance. The four of us live in the tail end of the boat with our cat. The studio consists of a living room & kitchen with a mezzanine that has a queensize bed. The second part is a smaller room with a queensize bed, shower and toilet. Outside you can enjoy the sunset from the upper deck or relax on the patio.

We stayed in Jan and Frances' house for a week. It is as shown in the pictures, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for meal préparation. The washer and dryer worked perfectly. A large Carrefour grocery store is in walking distance. We had everything we needed for our stay. Jan and Frances responded promptly to all questions with clear answers and directions.

Very pretty accomodation. Sauna was great. They gave us free bikes to use which was nice because city centre is a bit far away. Communication could’ve been a bit better.

Great stay, neatly cared for. Cozy separate dining and living room. Nice garden. Two neat bathrooms. Bedrooms were spacious. A few minutes walk from the center where every Sunday there is a cozy market and the terraces are full in good weather. Makes you feel cozy. Furthermore, you have the Abdij Val Dieu 5 minutes away by car, well worth a visit. And nice walks possible right from the house. Furthermore, you can also enjoy delicious food in the surrounding villages such as Teuven, at Moeder de Gans or cafe Modern. The only downside could be if you don't climb stairs easily: they are high, quite slippery steps and the toilets are both upstairs. We at least enjoyed it.

It was a great holiday. Claudia was there in person for the check-in and explained everything about the house to us. Communication was easy and quick. Claudia gave us plenty of tips about the area. The house is located right by the Maas River, was very spacious, and wonderfully equipped. We would definitely recommend it!
