Maylea, lovingly renovated self contained holiday let in a beautiful rural area. Positioned on the second highest spot in Sussex within easy driving distance to many fabulous locations. The perfect escape for peace and quiet or maybe a glass of something in the kitchen whilst cooking on the Range. The house is a cosy retreat with endless supply of logs. Pets are welcome. First and Foremost Maylea is a Wonderful family home, Rich in timeless memories of fun, laughter and great times together.

Gunbanks Forge TN225HS is situated in the heart of the Sussex countryside in the grounds of Gunbanks Farm. It is a peaceful retreat to escape the stress of daily living. Tucked away down a private drive with easy parking. Spring feels like its just around the corner. The sun is shining and the daffodils are brightening the garden. All the trees and shrubs are beginning to bud and the garden feels like it will explode into colour very soon. The birds are singing and deer gather in the fields.

My place is close to Ashdown Forest and half hour drive to Glyndborne Opera House. Sussex Coast is within easy reach. Royal Tunbridge Wells 20mins away with the famous Pantiles. Many historical Villages nearby including Mayfield and Burwash. My large garden is full of wild life with two resident badger sets. White Deer are frequent visitors and can often be seen at dawn and dusk from the terrace. Foxes and family of Hare. More recently, we have two families of the protected Hedge Hogs.

The space has been transformed into a cosy woodland retreat flooded with natural light. It has a secure private entrance & ample off-street parking. The lounge has a wood burning stove stocked with logs from our garden. The accommodation is ideal for a family of 4 or 2 couples, the bedroom has a kingsize bed and there's a kingsize sofa bed in the lounge.

A charming Cottage in the village of Mayfield. There is a wood burning stove for winter stays and a enclosed well stocked tranquil garden with outdoor seating. The cottage is detached and situated up a private drive with parking. It is secluded and quiet whilst being under 2 mins walk from a super village pub serving good food and local beers and 5 minutes walk to the centre of the village with all its lovely shops/cafes, delicatessen and famous gastro pub.

We are offering a beautifully converted barn, in a secluded spot about 150m from our house, at the bottom of the garden. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We are happy to welcome a well-behaved dog. What a haven it was for me and my daughters dog..so peaceful and surrounded by nature. The entrance to the apartment was totally secluded with sun and shade on the patio. Access to the main garden was immediate with good perimeter fencing so dog could roam safely..Amelia kindly left some bread, milk and butter in the fridge and the lotions in the bathroom were very good quality. Lovely shower.. Didnt want to leave as great place to retreat from the world!

This was our second visit to ‘the cabin in the woods’ as my children like to call it. You immediately feel at home, it’s so peaceful and there’s everything you need to help you settle in. From fresh eggs from the chickens to cooking breakfast on the fire, a public footpath leading to woods and fields right on the doorstep and lovely toiletries in the large shower - we will return again. Thank you for giving us a few days off the hamster wheel in your lovely lodging

This is a fantastic property, very spacious and has a very handy path to the local village through the fields. Sue was great with check-in instructions and provided tea and coffee, which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend staying here and would come again !

A great place to stay to access Hastings. Right on the waterfront which was lovely, accommodation was exactly as described. Only slight issue was parking which was accurately described in the listing and free parking was found a short walk away, overall not a major issue and didn’t impact the stay
