Sinds 1980 runt boer Folkert de melkveehouderij waar 110 koeien gemelkt worden. Kom tot rust in de hot tub of neem een duik in de zwemvijver nabij. Ga met de veerboot een dag naar Terschelling of Vlieland. Breng een bezoek aan de hoofdstad Leeuwarden of stap op de fiets en verken de omgeving.

Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest tidal area on Earth. The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by just over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees and many species of birds. The orchards contain plum, quince, medlar and different varieties of apple and pear trees. We also share the place our dog Jack, 10 ducks and some chickens.

Close to the city center of Leeuwarden is Woodpecker, a spacious and bright bungalow of 100 m². You have a private entrance and the Woodpecker has two spacious bedrooms, both with a private shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic comforts. The bungalow can accommodate up to 4 people. Woodpecker Leeuwarden can also be booked through its own site. We're entering the last season to start over somewhere else. Cozy apartment on the outskirts of village near the sea dike with spacious south-facing balcony with beautiful views. We have this fully renovated, spacious apartment at our disposal and would like to let our guests enjoy it. Tzummarum is a cozy village and a great base for trips to, for example, Franeker, Harlingen (Wadden Islands), Leeuwarden or the lake area. In the rural surroundings of Tzummarum, it is wonderful for cycling, hiking and motorcycling.

In this renovated lodging along the dike, you can fully enjoy the peace and beautiful nature, adjacent to the fields with potatoes, sugar beets and cereals and views towards the Wadden Sea. The property is less than a kilometer from the Wadden Sea, where it is wonderful to walk and cycle. In the area are several restaurants and eateries, where a delicious lunch or dinner is served.

Our beautiful comfortable Bakhuske is a small cozy apartment and equipped with all the comforts. You have access to a small terrace and you can also use the garden. Where you can enjoy the sun or, for example, make a fire. You can cycle and walk in the area. There are bicycle routes available.
