Peaceful countryside house near Elie

LisaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our group of 10 absolutely loved staying here! It is a great location for exploring the surrounding attractions and beach, the manual Charlotte provides has recommendations too. We cooked a meal for everyone, no problem. The kitchen was fantastic, everything you could need and the Aga was fab! Tennis court was also a big bonus and my friends spent a lot of time out there and in the garden. We found the rooms very comfortable and because it is situated in the countryside, far from any noise and light pollution it makes for a peaceful night's sleep! Best sleep I've had in months. We also accidentally left one of our bags behind after we had checked out and travelled home. Charlotte has made accommodations to get it back to us! The communication has been excellent. Thank you for a wonderful weekend! 😊

Caroline’s place in Elie was just wonderful! We were celebrating an 80th birthday and having special family time. The place was so well organised and set up for a large family. It was incredibly clean and comfortable and gave us a wonderful stay. Elie was stunning as always! Caroline and Zoe were very helpful to our needs and checked in with us. Thank you all. Would definitely stay again!

Montrave House Self Catering, near St Andrews Fife

BrianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is an ideal place for a family get together. we were 6 adults, a 17 month old and a dog. The interior had loads of space for all and all the beds were comfy. There are lots of places to walk on the property with the dog and a lovely lawn area outside the house for the little one to play on. We had the pizzas on the Saturday night which made sorting out food really easy as we'd eaten out at lunchtime. Definitely worth giving them a go. The house is only a short five from Leven and Cupar were you'll find shops and restaurants. Great golf courses jearby as well. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.

The Balcarres East Lodge

ThomasRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed eight nights in the East Lodge. 2 adults, 2 dogs. Probably the best stay we have had in Scotland and we have stayed in many places over the years. The lodge was perfect for us, charming and well equipped. The setting was exactly what we wanted, peaceful, secluded but also close to villages and local towns. And last but not least, Alexander was the perfect host in every way. We are already planning for a return visit!

Stylish 2 bedroom garden apartment in Pittenweem

SteveRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a great long weekend at Dr Kennedy's Waiting Room. The apartment is beautifully presented and equipped with everything we needed, exactly as described. It's easy to find, plenty of parking space, though care is needed getting out onto the road. It's just 5 minutes from the harbour and Pittenweem is a lovely little harbour village. It's one of a number of wonderful places on that coast, with St Monan's 5 minutes drive to the west and Anstruther, the largest of them, 5 mins to the East. St. Andrews is 20 minutes away. We had fish and chips from the Chip Ahoy (we would recommend this over the queues at the Anstruther Fish Bar - food is fine but not so much that it is worth the wait when there are plenty of other options), and a great lunch at the Dory Bistro. Sam was excellent at communicating, super quick to respond and made sure we had all the information we needed and that everything was as it should be. We can recommend without hesitation or reservation.

Ptarmigan's Nest

RebeccaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I had a really wonderful stay at Ptarmigan's Nest! Jerome and Tracey have been excellent hosts-welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The place was immaculately clean, and all the little touches made it feel very cozy. The bed was super comfy, and the kitchen had everything I needed (I especially love the air fryer and will definitely be getting one for myself!) The local area is gorgeous, with plenty of beautiful walks and scenery nearby. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic stay! Thanks for being great hosts :)

The 1881 - A Period Home

JonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely flat in a lovely small town. The flat as a comfortable and feels like a home rather than a characterless rental. Jak and Kerri reached out to check we were OK and replied quickly when we had questions. There are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance, and bigger places 6-7 minutes drive away. Further afield you've got St. Andrew's which is great, Edinburgh and the whole of Fife. Parking is on the street but was never a problem. All in all a lovely stay and would happily return.
A modern living area features a gray sectional sofa adorned with decorative cushions. A sleek glass coffee table is set on a colorful area rug. The background includes a well-equipped kitchen with dark cabinetry and a subtle art piece on the wall.

Luxury 5 star cabin Dog Friendly

CraigRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I would like to say a big thank you to Leigh for everything she was so helpful over message. I met her in person and such a lovely lady. Everything was clean and tidy, helpful information and was only a message away if needed with a fast reply. I would highly recommend here for a trip away as I would 100% come back. I planned this for a surprise for the other haft as she’s never stayed in one or been in a hot tub. The views are so nice around the area and so private. When you can tell they have put there heats into this that means the most. Thank you again Leigh. We enjoyed every moment and didn’t want to leave.
