Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ferndale

We really enjoyed our stay in this home, which has a great location near the waterfront. The house itself is cozy and beautifully decorated, perfectly blending charm with modern amenities. I particularly appreciated the comfortable bed, which ensured restful nights after long walks exploring the waterfront and the town of Walkerville. I had a great stay at this lovely home. Great neighborhood and wonderful backyard! The house was very clean and just as describing. The host was extremely kind and helpful. Great place all around!

Roger was a responsive and accommodating host who was willing to work with us to make sure his house would suit the needs of our long term work trip. The house was very nicely appointed and looked either newly built or very recently updated; definitely nicer than many others in the area. Additionally, it’s not too far from some good restaurants, bars, etc. Will definitely look to book this house in the future if ever in the area again.

Fantastic, incredibly accomadating hosts! We were so grateful Giovanni allowed us to have an earlier check in and later check out due to our weird flight schedules. The house itself is well appointed and within walking distance to all Ferndale has to offer. Thanks for a great stay!

The stay was great! The place was easy to find, we were a little behind schedule for the drive but Alan was very flexible. Getting in we had some trouble with the door, but Alan responded immediately and was quickly able to help. The place was very neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable, stairs were very steep but that was very much explained in listing and we had no troubles. The neighbors in the bottom unit were very nice and even offered to move their cars so we could get our luggage in. Overall was an amazing stay and we would definitely book again!

Kind and responsive host.

We loved staying here. It’s a quiet place with a very comfortable and clean house. We stayed for 7 weeks, and there was everything we needed. The house was well-equipped for long stays, especially for cooking. The knives were very sharp, which was a nice surprise for us because we hadn’t experienced that before when staying at other places through Airbnb. Stores, bars, and restaurants are located nearby. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied. Thanks a lot.

Quiet neighborhood, good for the short overnight stay we planned. Upstairs did get bit warmer than the downstairs but it was 85 degrees all day. Mario was very responsive and made great recommendations for meals.

Parking in back is tight if you have a larger car. Safe location. The place had all the kitchen amenities needed-a small stove, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker and fridge. I saw an iron and a hairdryer but didn’t need them. The white towels were nice and clean, plus the queen bed was very soft & comfortable. The white sheets were also comfy and clean. The place is dated and has that older studio feel (I chose not to soak in the tub) yet it was very tidy and maintained. The place has character. The area is tree lined, and was quiet and walkable. We did not use the tv. It’s a good value and I would recommend for a short stay and for a business trip it was ideal. Thank you!

This was a great place to stay. Zoey's place had everything we needed and it was nice and tidy. I didn't really communicate much with Zoey as I used to live in the area so I knew where everything was. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Jeff's place was perfect for a week long stay, I felt very much at home. Location is convenient to downtown. Very clean, the bed and couch were super comfy, had a kitchen stocked enough to cook daily, and included lots of extra towels, blankets and laundry and bathroom supplies. Host was very responsive and I'd book again anytime.

Elainea's condo was a nice size with full kitchen and our stay was peaceful and quiet. Elainea was very responsive to any questions, and I would stay again if in the area!

Our stay in the Navy Yard Condo B was great in every respect. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was easy to navigate and very well equipped, and the sitting room had nice comfortable furniture. From there and the balcony we enjoyed a great view of the lovely street and river. We parked right beside the Salty Dog restaurant both nights. We walked to No Frills, to the beer store and to dinner one night. The location was perfect. The condo was halfway between our visits to Windsor and to the wineries! Jason was a responsive and attentive host. We'll be back for sure!

I loved staying here. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The market across the street is amazing!!! I felt like I could've lived here forever and been happy. Entry and exit process were both very easy. The host was accommodating and the laundry facilities in the basement were very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!
