Luxury Downtown Penthouse

True luxury in Faroe Islands. The extra space was great to have with 2 little kids. The home is very well curated with beautiful art. The super automated espresso machine was so nice to have, especially with jet lag! The host is super responsive and helpful. The view and location are amazing as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Super idyllische Atmosphäre mit malerischem Blick auf den Atlantik vom Whirlpool aus. Es war alles vorhanden und Jákup war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Bænadiktsstova. Vielen Dank, Jákup, für die Gastfreundschaft!

Beautiful and spacious house with a wonderful cosy vibe. Everything is newly renovated and just as described with enough space for a toddler to play as well! We made full use of the sauna and hottub, such a great addition to the house! The town is quaint and everything is in walking distance. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would note though, that the stairs are rather steep, so that might be an issue for some guests. Additionally some rooms feel a little "unfinished" which is not a problem, but it would have been nice to have a cupboard or a place to hang some clothes in the two bigger bedrooms and to have a lamp next to the bed. All these were minor inconveniences though and we all thoroughly enjoyed staying in this wonderful house. Highly recommend!

Der er god plads til hele gruppen i denne rummelige og unikke bolig. Dejligt hus med 4 værelser med dobbeltsenge. Huset har en helt unik udsigt over Atlanterhavet og I kan se 6 af Færøernes øer fra huset. Placeringen på hovedøen Streymoy lige midt imellem lufthavnen i Vagar og Torshavn. Et perfekt sted at køre ud fra for at opleve fantastiske Færøerne. Huset har god plads med de 120 m2. Der er 2 toiletter og et badeværelse, dejlig køkken og stue med udsigt i verdensklasse. Skal opleves.....

The house was lovely and presented well as a very authentic home of a famous writer, but tastefully modernised. Good facilities and a lovely view and location. We can definately recommend this place.
