House vacation rentals in Fairview

Very homey and welcoming. Family enjoyed celebrating time together in all spaces of the house, especially the back patio where our young child made believe on the well-designed pirate ship. Friendly, kind host. We walked to adorable Rockridge and BART many times. Highly recommended.

This spacious home was absolutely beautiful for our stay! We especially appreciated the amenities that the home provided. Specifically, the pool and vast dining spaces were a perfect match for our large family. The location was in a quiet neighborhood, central to the attractions we wanted to see including downtown San Fransisco and the Winchester house. The homeowner was great with communication throughout the booking and check in/out process. Overall, we had a lovely stay in this gorgeous home.

The place was clean and beautiful. We needed a home away from home while construction was going on at our place. And found it here.

Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

A lovely property to relax in and enjoy. Just what we needed after doing all the sightseeing in the first part of the holiday

The house was awesome, having everything we needed, plus some nice extra touches like pool toys and snacks for a movie night. The only downside was that they had instructions to not turn the ac down past 72 and it was a very hot weekend, the house held onto a lot of heat and the bedrooms were very warm. The pool and spa were great, and we loved hanging out in the outdoor space.

Excellent stay - wish we'd found this place sooner! Our host was fantastic throughout our entire stay - incredibly helpful, responsive to any questions, and made the whole experience seamless. The property was exactly as described in the listing, with everything we needed and more. The location in Dublin worked perfectly for exploring Northern California. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. If we had discovered it earlier, we definitely would have made it our home base for our entire NorCal trip instead of bouncing around different accommodations. We'll absolutely be booking here again on future visits to the Bay Area. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, well-maintained place with an outstanding host!

I had a very nice stay here for 1 month. The place was exactly as described and close to The Village in Castro Valley which offers grocery, coffee, and dining options within walkable distance. The space is small but private and comfortable enough for working and relaxing.

Had a great stay in Oakland at this place. It was easy to check-in, very clean, and the host was very responsive. They left me a thank-you note which was a nice surprise. Would recommend to others for families, but don’t book if you want somewhere to party. The neighborhood was quiet and had beautiful views of the bay. Overall great!

I only wish I could give more than five stars. Words can’t begin to describe our host. Without exception. Forever grateful for the superior level of kindness and hospitality. Thank you Michelle and Ryan.

Gina was a fantastic host who had great communication. She was very responsive and kind. Her instructions were clear and her house was perfect before we arrived.

We had a great stay at Zepelin's house. House was easy to find in a quiet neighborhood. The layout is great with lots of natural light. Everything was super clean. Love that we get to park in the garage. Driveway is steep....so be weary driving up the first time. Zepelin was easy to communicate with and flexible when we made requests. Would absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves on this side of the Bay.

This studio is perfect for a short or long term stay for single adults or couples. Olga is a great host who was very responsive and kind during our month-long stay. We couldn't have been more comfortable!

It is a very comfortable suite. It is in a very nice residential neighborhood where parking on the street is no problem. Mary is a great hostess going over and beyond what was expected, she provided a bowl of fresh fruit, and a bowl of munchies, and my favorite thick big towels.

Great stay overall and this home really felt like home away from home. Very calm and peaceful street, though there is a railroad right behind the house and you might hear a train drive by on occasion, though quick and not bad at all. Would for sure recommend this space and the host was always great at responding! Thank you!!

Jane’s place was very clean and we loved the comfortable beds! We spent most of our time with family at their home, but appreciated a clean and peaceful neighborhood to come home to and rest each night. There were a few neighbors with dogs who barked into the night, which took a few. Nights to get used to- but we did. Appreciated how clean it was as that is always important to us. Thank you!!

Omg, Anton’s place was just perfect! We could never get enough of his beautiful home and the incredible view! Wow! Everyday, I would just sit outside and stare at it! It was wonderful being so close to nature! During our stay, we saw deer, turkey, cows right in our backyard! Amazing! It is so close to nature and yet, the location is so central and is very close to everything! It’s like a little paradise in the heart of the city! And the house was so complete, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! There was even a newly installed jacuzzi that Anton would let us use! Anton is a very generous and caring host! And he was always just a call away! My husband told me we should always stay at Anton’s when we are in San Jose😊 we love the place!

Tint was a very communicative host. The home was nice and tidy and we were happy to be able to bring our ESA dog with us with no issues. It was nice to have a driveway big enough for 2 cars since my family of 6 drove from Las Vegas. Tint was very accommodating and we would love to stay again if we are ever in the Bay Area.

We are in the process of selling our home and moving to the East coast and have had several fantastic stays at Will's place over the course of the last 3 months. This home is a beautiful private retreat in the middle of Bollinger Canyon. You'll experience a complete getaway and immersion in nature. Will is a fantastic and responsive host, taking care of us in many lovely ways throughout our stay. We will be back!
