Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Fairfield County

My family and I had a wonderful time traveling to Hocking Hills and we were very pleased with the accommodations. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful house. It was the perfect size for our family of 9. Would definitely recommend this house too anyone wishing to have a peaceful stay in Ohio. Thank you so much! 😊

Jordan’s place was just as described. The family loved the pickleball court, watching movies in the basement, and using the speaker in the garage!! The hot tub was a huge bonus after long days in Hocking Hills. Highly recommend Jordan’s place

Jacob’s place was very pleasant to stay at. Our family of 6 had plenty of space inside the house and around the property to relax and enjoy the peaceful hocking area. The hot tub was very relaxing and the fire pit made for a great night of relaxation outdoors! Overall my family loved this space and would definitely book again!!!

Rebecca‘s home was beautiful and exactly as the picture and description showed. Everything about staying here worked so perfect for our family! We were able to walk to the park, Dairy Queen, and downtown Canal Winchester. The back porch was peaceful and we spent nights with family visiting, grilling out and roasting s’mores. Her home was very comfortable and extremely clean and Rebecca had everything on hand with tons of extra touches that you don’t typically find! We will definitely be back!

It was easy to find but you are actually in the basement of a house built on a hill. I don’t think that shows in the listing. The people above you actually live there. They greeted us and were both lovely. I didn’t realize it was really one big room. Also, it is much more rustic than it looks in the photos. The porch with the hot tub, table, swing and glider was very nice as it looked out on the big field and woods. Bre and Peter were very quick at getting back to me if I had a question. I did not like having to go through a second app though. I’d rather do everything just through Airbnb.

Wonderful stay. We had an extended family group of 14. We were simply looking for a central location for meeting up with family between Cincinnati and Cleveland, so we intended to spend quite a bit of time at the house just hanging out. The house was great, lots of space. The fire pit was really unique and a lovely setting in the evening, the basement activities, basketball court and the outdoor area was fun for the kids and adults. I read a few other reviews about the neighbor in the apartment next door…she’s lovely! We wouldn’t have known she was there at all, but she actually offered to help by lighting up the basketball court one evening for us. We also walked down to the ice cream shop in the evening, and to the coffee shop in the mornings, don’t miss out on those. Leslie was great, quick responses to any questions. In sum, the house and its surroundings were the main attraction for our visit, and it didn’t disappoint. We would definitely go back.

Had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at this beautiful property near Buckeye Lake. The house was exactly as described: spacious, clean, and perfect for our group. The game room was a hit with our kids (as were smores over the fire pit), the hot tub was relaxing, and the location was convenient to most everything in the area. The peaceful setting by the canal was perfect for a quiet weekend away. The hosts were responsive and made check-in seamless. We appreciated them sharing the place with us.

I would highly recommend this to anyone! This place was phenomenal and quiet and peaceful. Christine and Matt went beyond what anyone would expect. A lot of extra’s that you would not expect, like smores for the fire out back, snacks and drinks, a cheesecake, tooth paste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Extremely clean, extra blankets, pillows, robes, many towels, this place is extra clean, quiet. There is a hot tub, and a fire pit for the relaxing evenings. We will return without hesitation. Thank you Matt and Christine you two are the best, and very appreciated more than you know. Thank you again.

I had a great stay at the bike house. Private and natural setting that felt relaxed. I recommend a walk along the pond in the evening. Equally convenient to downtown and the countryside. The apartment accommodations is as advertised. Very quiet, comfortable with well thought out amenities. Bring your bikes.

Exactly as presented on-site. The space was very comfortable immediately. Spotlessly clean, comfortable sofa, nice kitchenette area, and cozy sleeping area. Great place to stay!

Jennifer’s place was wonderful! Her and Dick were very hospitable. My husband and I traveled from out of state to celebrate my brother’s 60th birthday. They allowed him and my daughter and her 2 kids to meet there and enjoy their beautiful outside tranquility garden and they even built us a fire in the fire pit. They had popsicles and toys for the kids as well. They went above and beyond to make our time there enjoyable. I would highly recommend their Airbnb. A very enjoyable stay and some wonderful memories were made!

This is the first stay we’ve had where the kids beg we come bag again. Truly a magical little setting. The kids were so busy outside, there was no mention of electronics. Beautiful stay.

We had such an amazing time at Boxhop! Emily and Seth were great hosts who immediately sent us all the info we would need about our stay and the area. Not only was the interior so cool and decorated great, but the airbnb was filled with anything we could need. We especially loved the hot tub, games and record player. We had such a cozy visit and the surrounding area made for the most peaceful stay. We did some scenic hikes and rappelled waterfalls and Emily and Seth gave great dining recommendations. Such a fun and unique property!

Loved our stay here for a girls weekend! We took all Michelle’s recommendations and had a wonderful time. The house was beyond clean, so spacious, and so beautiful. The photos really do not do it justice. We just wish we had booked longer! Already talking about when we will be back!

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were at home. Sandrine's cabin was spotless, very well and tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and pleasing decorations. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable. The MBR bed was super comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed the front porch and back deck as well as the hot tub which was the largest, most powerful and cleanest we've experienced in our many Hocking Hills Airbnb trips. The place was private (in the summer) with thick tree lines on each sides separating us from the neighbors and no one in the back. We also enjoyed the hammocks. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.., We will return!

We had 16 people in our group. We loved all the activities offered in the cabin and pole barn. Kept us busy all day! The cabin was plenty spacious and equipped for our whole group. Lots of room! The mattresses were soooo comfortable! The outside dining table with seating for all was a major plus! I had to reach out to Amanda a time or two and she was FANTASTIC to deal with. The only issue we encountered was low water pressure when many of us were running showers but Amanda warned us about that beforehand. Would love to stay here again!!!

Was an amazing location to stay, the place was clean and beautiful! We loved the layout and having the hot tub screened in with the game room, as well as the fire pit in the middle. They really thought it out when creating a space for multiple people.

We had a beautiful stay at Jordan’s place! It was beautifully decorated, well stocked with snacks and coffee, and had amazing views! Jordan was also super responsive to one minor issue we had. We will absolutely be back again!
