Apartment vacation rentals in Faak am See

Our stay was absolutely perfect. We were staying for a long weekend for the Ironman event and wanted somewhere away from the busyness of the event but close enough to get there and back easily enough. The apartment was ideal, better than we had even expected! We had a secure place to keep the bikes, a private garden with seating and shade to relax and all of the facilities we needed to be self sufficient for the weekend. Ulli and Elizabeth were super hosts, really welcoming, friendly and responsive to our needs, even sending good luck wishes ahead of the race which was really lovely! The location of the apartment was stunning and I would love to return for a more relaxing break in the future to really explore the area.

Beautiful and new complex equipped with all the luxuries with a great view. Filip was flexible with the arrival time and when there was a small problem on arrival he solved it quickly and in a pleasant way for us.

Clean and complete apartment with terrace, quietly located on the outskirts of Villach in a beautiful area. Plenty of parking. You walk right into the woods of the Dobratsch Nature Park), also supermarkets, a large shopping center and swimming pool within walking distance. The Faakersee and Villacher Alpenstrasse are accessible in 10 minutes by car.

Norbert and Claudia are very nice, likeable and helpful hosts. We felt very comfortable immediately and were able to enjoy our stay very much. The apartment is very well maintained, modern, very clean and superbly equipped, we didn't miss anything! Also received many great tips for the area. If we are traveling in this area again, we very much hope that we can book this beautiful accommodation again.

The accommodation is ideally located for excursions into nature, the nearest major city is 30 minutes away by car. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The accommodation has everything you need to feel comfortable

We booked the accommodation for a stopover. The place is very clean, had everything we needed. The host is very nice and always available for a chat. He gave us good tips for our further trip to Croatia. On our way back home from Croatia, we booked again and were received in a very friendly manner again. We can only recommend it and say thank you 👍😊

We were there in the preseason. From mid-May there is a kiosk in the house which is very practical. There is a very nice swimming beach right by the house that we used for sunbathing. We highly recommend visiting the Wernberg Monastery and the Benedictine Pencil in Ossiach. Beautiful paths from there to hike. You can explore a lot by bike. In case of rain, the thermal spa Warmbad Villach is recommended.

I have spent the last three months in this apartment and can only report positive things. The apartment is excellently equipped and offers everything you need to feel good. I was particularly impressed by the great view and the excellent location. The landlords are also extremely friendly, accommodating and available at all times, which made the stay even more pleasant. We absolutely loved cozying up in what was one of the best airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. We loved the peaceful surroundings and being tucked away in nature. We absolutely loved our stay here, the place had lots of space, was super clean, was in a fantastic location to walk in to bled and felt really comfy and safe. We made use of the on site parking as well, this was the perfect base to explore Slovenia and Bled. Would absolutely love to stay again, highly recommend!

Just few words - nice, new & modern occupancy.

Super apartment very close to all the amenities of Lake Bled but in a quiet area. Spotless. Everything you could need. Understand that it is on a fairly well used road so there is a little noise but nothing that disturbed us. As others have said, there are several flights of stairs but that adds to the character, and 2 of blackout blinds are not very effective. That said, it is super clean, provides everything you need and the hosts are very helpful and friendly.

We had such a nice time! Felt like home! Apartment was very clean & we had everything we needed! We also loved the yard & sitting outside (stunning views while drinking morning coffee)! Definitely would recommend staying there! Such a peaceful location and so close to Bled!

We highly recommend this place! The view from the balcony is incredible. The location is perfect with only a short walk to the lake and right next to the train station. The place was clean and had everything we needed! Kristin was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely be visiting again!

Our stay at Katharina’s place was nothing short of wonderful. We were looking for a peaceful get away and not only found it, but enjoyed the beautiful setting and comfortable stay. Katharina and her family were warm and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home. We cannot wait to come back again!

A beautiful, modern apartment in a great location to enjoy the outdoor pursuits that Bovec offers. The apartment had everything we needed and plenty of room for our family of 7. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful place to wind down and enjoy the surroundings from the wood-fired hot tub. Easy walk to town for tasty local food, and a nice hike to the 3 land point. Cottage was wonderful, well stocked for cooking, and very peaceful. Would definitely come back!

Extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. With a great beautiful glass sauna in the garden, from where you have a beautiful view of the mountain peaks across the valley. A wood-fired hot tub in the garden was also available. Very pleasant during an unclouded evening, with an immense starry sky above you. Unfortunately, trails were no longer available for cross-country skiing in the immediate vicinity. But with a half hour drive, there were good cross-country skiing opportunities on the public slopes in Villach, and in Slovenian Planica. For beautiful walks you didn't have to go that far. We enjoyed the week in Bach im Gailtal very much.

Zlata and Dusan’s place is fantastic. Nothing short of five stars for the apartment itself and for the communication from the hosts. Dusan greeted us on arrival and gave us some suggestions as well as a tour of the apartment. This is a beautiful apartment situated in such a quiet part of lake bled and having access to bikes was a game-changer. Complementary chocolate, jam and coffee were received on arrival and they even dropped round some homemade cherry liqueur halfway through our stay which was delicious. You won’t regret staying here! My only regret is we forgot to write a message in the guest book, but I will be sure to next time if we come again!

we wish we could give this place more than 5 stars. while GPS can be a bit confused in this area as we got lost twice, the location is so peaceful and beautiful. the property itself is stunning, very modern with great amenities. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the hot tub, the sauna and just enjoyed the beautiful view. Also the next door farm shop had some fantastic sausages and eggs for our dinner. This was the best place we have ever stayed at, and we were quite sad to check out. The hosts were also super friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area 😊

Could not think of a more perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Bled. Incredibly easy check in, super responsive and helpful host, and the place was very quiet and cozy. If I ever find myself back in Bled, this will be at the top of my list!
