The house is a unique old fisherman's home from 1875, which has been owned by the family since 1929. Upgraded to today's amenities, without ruining the old nostalgia. The house is located in the center of the nostalgic village of Gjógv. One of the most scenic and idyllic places in the Faroe Islands Here you can imagine going back in time, relaxing and enjoying the tranquility. Yes you can literally listen to the silence and enjoy nature in full. It cannot be explained it must be experienced.

The house is located by the sea with a view of the fjord. On the other side of the fjord is Kalsoy, where the last James Bond film ended. The 150-year-old Pershús has recently been renovated. It is perfect for couples and families with children. There is opportunity for activities. Quiet walks and hiking. The local å Storá is everyone's playground. It is a peaceful place close to a grocery, restaurant, a bowling alley, a shop with local craft, art and boat museum, and also Viking ruins. There are good conditions for fishing and fishing gear is available. There is free parking, Wi-Fi and cable TV.

Large, peaceful apartment in the middle of the Faroe Islands. Geographically central. The longest distance by car is approximately 1 hour's drive. 6 of the islands are connected by tunnels and bridges. It is about 15 min to Tórshavn through the new underwater tunnel. Quiet village by the sea. Nice view from the livingroom. You will love my home because of the peace, the view and the surroundings.
