Peaceful, beautiful stay! Sherry was very responsive any time we had a question about something. I look for places that have a bathtub, along with canoes, kayaks, paddleboats. There was a nice spa-type tub! So relaxing! The beds were comfortable, and we had the utensils needed to cook our own food in the kitchen. Starlink satellite Internet worked fabulously! We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing in the nice-sized lake just around the corner from the cabin, where the wedding venue is located. On the rained out day, we enjoyed sitting on the covered screened porch to listen to the rain. When the nights are mostly clear, you can sit on the large uncovered porch and see all the amazing stars (and fireflies this time of year). Evenings/night, you can sometimes hear an owl hooting in the distance. The provided coffee is a plus for mornings on the porch to listen to all the beautiful birds and looking at the edge of the Appalachian! We never get to hear birds like this near the city!

This house is truly amazing. The pictures do not capture the true beauty of the house and surrounding property. There is tons of room to spread out and relax. Everything was perfectly clean. I would encourage anyone staying in this area to utilize this lovely home.
