OVENDEN LODGE is a rural smallholding with horses and chickens , surrounded by open paddocks. It is situated off Main North Road at the southern entrance to historic Gawler. We offer a self-contained "granny flat" alongside the main house that is ideal for a quiet, private retreat for 1-2 adults, complete with cedar hot tub and sauna. Unfortunately, due to the ponds and animals on the property, Ovenden Lodge is NOT suited for children. Dogs and ponies are welcome by individual prior arrangement.

Schomburgk Cottage- Gawler- private, cozy, unique.

This romantic place to stay offers a history all its own. Come and experience what is believed to be the barn which has been converted into a cozy and private space for two. We have tried to retain as many historic features of the cottage while making sure it is modern and comfortable. We still have a lot to do and will continuing works between guests. The cottage has a quirky attic bedroom accessed by a steep set of stairs. Very much like a tiny house. Please keep that in mind when booking.

This is a MUST to visit!! Absolutely incredible stay, the views are stunning, watching the animals graze with the gorgeous sunsets over the hills. Very thoughtful amenities, extremely clean and well organised! This place has everything you would need for a quiet getaway. Perfect for myself and my partner for a couples retreat, this will definitely be on my list to re-visit again maybe in the summertime! I had a wonderful stay at Lidija’s loft. Communication was clear and everything was perfectly organised. Check-in was smooth with easy-to-follow instructions, and the place was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Lidija was thoughtful and made sure we had a few nice touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. Even though we didn’t meet, I really appreciated how well everything was set up. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting the area. Thanks again Lidija.
