Paul & Pat Pillis

DanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I love traveling, but sometimes there is just no place like home. Well, Pat and Paul made me feel "right at home" during my stay. I had a wonderful, private place to rest ans sleep, but with the opportunity to have interesting and informative conversations, and enjoy a cup of coffee with the hosts. This was a wonderful experience. Thank you, Pat and Paul!

Rental Suite with private Minerva Lake access

Perfect place to stay before our week at Word of Life in Pottersville. I am so glad we booked an extra day to play in the lake and on the beach. Our entire family loved both the home but even more the endless amenities outside! Highly recommend!

The Park Motor Inn~ Charming Safe Haven~

Perfect spot for a home base for ADK trips. Comfortable (best airbnb pillows I’ve ever had), clean, 100 ft from Stewart’s, pet friendly, and 15ish minutes to a lot of the high peaks. The perfect combo of a charming mountain motel with the hospitality of hosts who made it seem like you were staying with old friends. My dog enjoyed the space to roam and play around the property. Will be coming back for future trips and recommend for others looking for an easy and comfortable spot a short drive from the peaks.

Shalonie’s place was exactly what I was looking for. Comfortable, clean, quiet room in an excellent location right next to a gas station, grocery store, and pharmacy. Shalonie is an amazing host, super responsive, and so knowledgeable about the ADKs. Will be staying here again! (also you have to try Shonie’s icecream)

Shalonie is a very thoughtful hostess and timely communicator. The location was fantastic for our hiking trip. Check-in and checkout were very simple. The location was incredibly convenient- walking distance to a gas station, grocery store and inn restaurant. If you’re above 5’10”, the shower might be a little tricky for you. I’m below 5’6”, so no problem for me.

Luxury space with amazing views of lake champlain

Enjoyed my stay. Took my boat and spent every day on the water. Three DEC launches within 20 minutes. Had a great time. Fuel and basic groceries 20-30 minutes away. Very peaceful! Pictures of rental are accurate. I wasn't aware of what a Kitchenette was (lacks cooktop/oven/sink) Most renters likely eat out anyway. For most food I brought, microwave and toaster were fine. Hilari provided some things I needed to eat in. She's very generous. Thank-You!

We loved our stay at Lana’s place! Cutest little chalet in beautiful surroundings, private & quiet. Lana was so helpful and responsive, too. I highly recommend staying here if you want to visit the Adirondacks!

Grand Suite w/ Backyard Access on Mirror Lake

JennaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Angela's place is one of the best Airbnb's we have stayed at in a long time! It is a gorgeous apartment and the balcony overlooking Main Street is wonderful! We truly loved every minute of this stay. Angela thought of everything and was very clear in the description and instructions for check-in, parking, amenities and had excellent recommendations! You do have to pay for parking (which is very clearly written) on the street or in a lot, but if you take a few minutes to figure that out it really is not that difficult at all. We arrived on Friday at 3pm and left Sunday at 10am. The total for parking was $34. The backyard is so peaceful and has a fantastic view of Mirror Lake. I highly recommend Angela and this place for your next stay in Lake Placid!!

Hike & Ski Hideaway @ Lake Placid, NY

We loved our stay at Mikaela’s! Looked just like the pictures. Bright, spotless, cute decor, lots of amenities, walkable to plenty of restaurants. The bedrooms are nice and dark for sleeping. We enjoyed some time in the sun on the patio, and briefly met Mikaela and her cute pups.
