The simple but cozy chalet with views over the mountains and the Rhone Valley is our holiday home. It is quietly located in the historic village center of Albinen. It is several hundred years old, but has all the essential comforts of a modern bathroom, a fitted kitchen with dishwasher and a terrace to eat outside when the weather is nice. The house is ideal for a couple or a family looking for a few days rest and hiking, biking or skiing.

An open living space features large windows that provide a view of the mountains. A comfortable sofa and coffee table are centered in the room, with a dining table and chairs nearby. Wood paneling and stone accents add natural texture to the interior.

L'immeuble "Pfolong" se trouve à côté de la station service et donc idéalement situé pour la piscine, le ski, les ballades. La vue sur la Gemmi est magnifique. Marianne & Edmund were so gracious and excited to show us their village, approximately 2,000' above the valley floor. Beautiful medieval rye crop farming village. Their home was warm, homey, spacious and had all the comforts. The mountain view was ...stunning! We hiked Erschmatt and to surrounding towns. Drove to the Matterhorn(lucky clear day)! Our three nights were not long enough. Marianne & Edmund are friendly, extraordinary people.🙏🏼🌷

Small and cozy apartment, we felt at home right away. A bit dark inside, but no problem with all the lights. Nice little walkway down to the river where we cooled down our feets after a day full of hiking. We came to the area of Gstaad for the Migros Hiking Sounds, which was great, and left with a lot of new impressions and wonderful memories.

The compact bathroom features artistic blue mosaic tiles covering the walls, with a glass shower enclosure visible. A unique stone sink is mounted on a wooden countertop, while a toilet is situated against a wall for efficient use of space. Natural light is provided by a small window.

Albinen is not for nothing one of the prettiest villages of Switzerland. You can sit for hours on the balcony overlooking the mountains and the Rhône Valley. Roger is an exceptionally helpful host and the apartment has all you need, within walking distance from the village. The tourist voucher affords free access to the bus to Leukerbad and its thermal bads. Splendid location for a peaceful getaway.
