Vacation rentals with lake access in English Channel

We were very comfortable in Maison de Charlotte. Emmanuel was so hospitable and helpful. We stayed for 5 days and found there was so much to do in the area that we hope to return. Such a peaceful relaxing stay

Totally wonderful stay, absolutely beautiful, tranquil surroundings gorgeous setting in a wonderful peaceful location. Idyllic petite cottage with lovely outside space, walks, cycling, and rambling a must. Only critique would be Wi-Fi which really is non existent but then again it’s not a deal breaker. La dolce vita en France 🇫🇷!

This was our second stay. Everything was as nice as we remembered from our first visit. The flat is spacious and well-appointed, the location is private and quiet, and the hosts are friendly and responsive. What more could you ask for in an AirBnB?

We were delighted with the house. The property's park is beautiful, well maintained, it offers a very peaceful environment close to Rennes or the exhibition center. There are beautiful animals, especially ponies that come to see newcomers. The owner was very responsive and contributed to the success of our brief stay. Thank you. A delightful beach cabin experience. I booked this beautiful home for a recent girls trip. Sofia allowed us to get access early as several of us had come on overnight flights. The home is easily locatable and perfectly situated. We spent four nights, enjoying long dinners at the dining room table, sitting on the back deck, enjoying the stunning view and sleeping peacefully in the lovely bedroom. Sofia was responsive throughout our visit, and even let us check out a little bit later than planned so we could further enjoy the beach. note that this is a very low tide beach. If you’re hoping to swim, you will likely need to go to another part of the beach. The water is ankle deep goes out at that level for a very long way. The kitchen is very well appointed, the beds are super comfortable. I am a stickler for having decent hot water for a nice bath, and that was not a problem at all. Thank you so much to Sofia and her partner. We look forward ved every minute.

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Tastefully decorated accommodation, everything is perfect as well as the amenities The setting is peaceful, ideal for a relaxing time, the lake views are beautiful. We felt very comfortable there. Odile is a warm, caring and welcoming host I will return without hesitating!

An absolutely awesome stay!!! The place is simply beautiful: a peaceful castle, surrounded by a superb natural setting, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Carole is an exceptional, warm, available and always helpful host. You can really count on her when you need her. Frankly, everything was there for an unforgettable time. We had a great time. The property is beautiful and close to places to visit in the Broceliande forest. The apartment is very well decorated and pleasant to stay in.

Very cute studio a short walk to the beach and the center with a beautiful view. Easy access to the accommodation, very well-equipped, clean and quiet. A little expensive but it was worth it. We could come back. Please note that parking can be a little tricky.

I highly recommend it as a peaceful retreat on the outskirts of Paris! It was so beautiful that I regretted not booking longer as soon as I arrived. It was a quiet place, but it wasn't difficult to access by car, and I was able to see the wonderful scenery while driving. The restaurant and bakery recommended by the friendly Olivier were also really delicious. Thank you!

This is our second stay here, and everything went very well again! Léa is very welcoming, the accommodation is perfectly equipped, and the city is really very pretty.

We had a lovely time staying at the Sail Loft. It was beautiful and tidy, it felt very homey. Jen’s instructions on how to arrive were very helpful and check in was easy :) From the accommodation you can see a beautiful lake, located just across the road. In the sail loft there was everything you could need to cook, clean and relax! Thanks for having us Jen :)

Lovely little cottage with a secure garden. The village has a fantastic little shop for everything you need and a very friendly village pub with great food.

What a beautiful location, cosy house, comfy beds and great views. The area around the cottage is lovely with a lot of wildlife. Janey is very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely stay!

We only stayed for 2 nights to attend a nearby wedding, but Middle Barn was perfect. Beautiful location, very well set up property with everything we needed. The welcome basket was a lovely touch, and we loved the alpacas peering in the windows. A great place to stay.

We had a brilliant stay at the Pink House! The house itself was beautifully decorated and was warm and inviting - we felt really at home here. Deborah was very friendly and responsive in her communication and sent us lots of local recommendations of things to do and places to visit. The garden was really private and we loved the built in BBQ and home-grown tomatoes and cucumbers, and the welcome basket that we're waiting for us when we arrived. The Pink House is in a great location with walks right from the front door and only 15-30 mins drive to the various beaches. We had a wonderful stay and wished we booked for longer - we'll definitely be back again!

Fabulous views. Ideal location to walk to beaches, whilst the water taxi was an easy cheap and fun way to land in the centre of the Plymouth Barbican. Both pubs great were great, The Bridge was a nice restaurant for a Saturday night treat. Also had breakfast and lunch at The Guardsman both good and all within a few minutes walk of the cottage.

Carey & Sarah's place was perfect for our young family. Spotlessly clean and in a great location to access Camber and Rye. Beds were very comfy and the house had everything we could need, including high chair, stair gates and playroom which made staying with small children very stressfree! We will definitely return :)

We had a lovely stay at The Long Stable. The place is very peaceful and there are good views of the countryside and a nearby reservoir. The amenities are top notch - great tv, fast WiFi and the tumble dryer came in handy too! Andrew was a very nice host and helped us when needed. We would definitely visit again.
