Vacation rentals with a fireplace in English Channel

We had a great time at Anaëlle and Joseph's place. Check-in is simple and self-contained, the instructions are very clear. The place is even better than the pictures. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and giant screen that allowed us to have a great time. Joseph made himself available to resolve some inconveniences, even from afar. This was greatly appreciated.

Having grown up in the area, Kennel Farm is the place we choose to come back for our family holiday every year. We love the house and surroundings. Excellent location and Tanya is a perfect host. Highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful week at the Rocket House. James has created the most wonderfully welcoming and enjoyable space. The house was truly more beautiful than we anticipated. It had everything we needed. The amenities were functional and well-appointed. The whole house was well-suited for our needs and was incredibly livable. My favorite part was the windows. If I have to clean up from dinner, the view made it so much more enjoyable. Additionally, the house was spotless and easily accessible. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Also, learning about the history of the house made it more meaningful to discover the specialness of the location and the house's origins. I CANNOT say enough good things about the location. The SW Coast Path is literally just outside the door. The views were stunning. Working with James was a joy. He was communicative, informative, and accommodating. I have already sent this listing to multiple friends!

A stunning Airbnb surrounded by the tranquility of nature and some lovely animals. The gite is spotless and designed beautifully, and there are lots of wonderful walks to do nearby. Our hosts were very accommodating and responsive and even gave us some eggs from their chickens for breakfast, which were delicious. Highly recommend staying here for a calm, relaxing stay surrounded by the French countryside.

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. We stayed with friends in this beautiful and large house. The renovation is tasteful and quality, it is aesthetically beautiful and the amenities are numerous. The kitchen in particular. The garden and terrace are pleasant. In the evening we are comfortably seated inside… to read a book in front of the fireplace. Bedrooms and toilets are upstairs. Thank you to Dagmar and Guy for their hospitality and responsiveness to our requests.

Such an amazing flat, beautifully decorated. Jasper left such clear instructions for everything. Loved the area of St Leonards. Would recommend to everyone!

Lovely apartment. Great location for centre of Rouen. Host was fantastic. Parking car will test your skills - access is tight for anything but a small car.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival, bright and comfortable. Quiet at night. Nice views from the living area over the harbor and looking over the town from the large bedroom. As Suzanne had noted in the listing, there is no assigned parking space which could be an issue. We had to pay to park the day of arrival. It’s free after 6pm until 8am. One item we’d suggest adding would be a clothes hanger for drying as the machine didn’t seem to actually dry anything. We’d highly recommend Seagulls restaurant (book in advance). Unassuming place but food was excellent. We also liked Platform for a Sunday roast and Rise for breakfast. The George was decent. If we’re back in West Bay, we’d definitely stay again.

Amazing location in Clifton, in the heart of Clifton. village. The flat was so quiet and peaceful at night, it was perfect!

We recommend this accommodation: cozy, clean and tidy, space for business, good location, etc. Everything is done to make you feel at home, but better. There's even a nice electric fireplace. We'll be back and look forward to staying at the Summer Cottage again. We thank Magda for her responsiveness and smooth and friendly communication (and congratulations on the cleanliness!).

We had a great stay here! Christina was really friendly making us feel right at home. She gave us some local recommendations and allowed us to come and go with zero hassle. The surroundings are stunning and we could have sat by the window all day. Great walking near by. Beach is a drive able day trip too.

Lyon’s la foret was a beautiful place and Patrick and Stephanie’s place is more fantastic than the photos. Morning delights of eggs or from the bakery were a very thoughtful touch too.

Lovely spot just a walk from the beach. The outdoor balcony space was welcomed when the sun was shining after a long day walking. We had everything we needed! Rachel was great with recommendations and quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything

Spectacular place in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Escape from daily life in a very special area with a well maintained chateau within walking distance.

We absolutely loved Joanna's place and had a great weekend. It was extremely comfortable and in the perfect position to enjoy the beach and everything around us. Our dogs were also very happy and the garden was safe and secure for them with a bit of grass. The house is well laid out. The bedroom was comfortable and the linen first class. Joanna was helpful and welcoming and available at all times. Highly recommended!

Wow wow wow!!! This property definitely has the wow factor. The views, setting and location are fabulous. You could never tire of looking across the grounds, pool and the creek. The property had everything we needed and perfect for a family with children. A few minor maintenance issues but nothing worth mentioning.

We had a great weekend with friends. The house is very nice and the views are incredible. The hot tub is a real plus. Ideal place to cut the weekend.
