Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Emmetten

Our family needed some rest and relaxation in nature with hiking trails right outside our door step. We got exactly that! What a beautiful cabin situated in the middle of the mountains at 1000m. The village of Isenthal was so picturesque. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay and wished it could have been longer. This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

Amazing view, up on the hill with view to the lake. It was epic, one of a kind! The flat has big balcony on both floors, modern bathroom, everything clean and modern and equipped … and you can drink your coffee watching the beautiful view in the morning. Unique experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The place is very nice and well equipped, so nothing is missing. We were particularly impressed by the quiet location, which offers a perfect retreat. The view of the lake is simply fantastic and provides a relaxed atmosphere. The first coffee in the morning is such a special experience. The communication with Jacqueline was excellent – the clear instructions left no questions unanswered. In addition, the brochures provided with activities were a great addition to explore the surroundings and make the most of the stay. We can definitely recommend this place.

We had a lovely stay at Riad’s - easy check in, extremely clean home and a very responsive host. We really appreciated the amenities, which included a washer, dishwasher and a Dyson hairdryer among others (have to note this in particular, as many hotels have weak / inefficient hair dryers, so to have a Dyson while traveling, as at home, is a game changer). Pictures do not do the view justice - the lake and surrounding mountains make for a lovely milieu. Highly recommend & would love to return someday!

Our stay at Christine's was great. The apartment is new, very clean and equipped with everything you need for the vacation. The location is great, very idyllic and nice and quiet. Christine is making every effort to ensure that you feel comfortable. We highly recommend the apartment and would be happy to come back.

The apartment is quite tiny but absolutely had everything we needed. We loved our little stay there before we drove to interlaken. Marion and Thomas were very helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

Maria’s home was a beautiful retreat from the noise of the city. It has an amazing view of the lake that beckons you to spend hours just looking at the horizon. The unit was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Highly recommended this location for a small family who wants to cook and spend some quiet time together.

The kitchen was fully equipped and included a large freezer, making meal preparation a breeze. Very clean, lots of thoughtful amenities like chargers, variety of shower soaps, and soft towels. Host was responsive and helpful. Train tracks out back took a day to get used to, then were no problem. Great location, walkable to the train station and downtown. Views of Rigi from the front terrace and Pilatus from the back windows. Great place!

The surroundings of Doris's apartment are simply WONDERFUL, a special place that will make you feel immense regret when you have to leave. Just perfect! The place was super clean, tastefully decorated and very cozy. The bed with topper was incredibly comfortable – I rarely slept so well. Everything is at ground level, barrier-free and therefore also ideally suited for people with disabilities. Especially practical: the private, protected parking space right outside the door Host was extremely friendly and helpful The great guide folder with many personal tips, some of which I did not know despite five years of vacation on Lake Como, should be highlighted. The location is quiet, but easily accessible and easy to find. All around a great place to stay with attention to detail – I will definitely come back!

Loved this condo. It was spotless, easy to find and the location was excellent. It was not in the middle of town with the crowds, yet easily walkable. Loved the peace and quiet and the views were amazing. A view of Staubbach falls right in front of the kitchen windows and at night the falls are lit up and look magical. The snow capped Mountain View’s of Breithorn mountain from the deck and literally from the sofa as you are watching tv, were awe inspiring. Comfy furniture and bed and a well equipped kitchen. Lisa was great with recommendations and super responsive.

We had a great stay at Remis Place, which is very tidy and clean. It's perfectly suited near the old town of Lucerne. I would definitely recommend this place.

It's so, so good, but a little expensive. Grindelwald Terminal (Jungfrau) was 2-3 minutes on foot. It was too much. The wind was overwhelming. It 👍👍👍👍was so good :) I think I'll go again next time. ^_^
