Experience the tranquility of the forest and the old-fashioned serenidyllyll in scenic surroundings. An old forest cuckoo located on the edge of a setertun, where horses graze on the moat and hens, the dog and the cats loose on the yard. If you are lucky you may see pearls living here. In the "closet" one can take a bath and the sauna can be rented by appointment. Or you can just enjoy the birdsong and the peace of the forest. Here, the original cultural landscape has been kept alive, through many years of grazing animals.
“Here you can really enjoy leaving cell phones and other electronics turned off. You get close to horses, sheep, cats, dog and rabbits, and at the same time experience some of what it could have been like to live there 200 years ago. Some modern facilities are there for the transition from the present to not be so great. The quay was well furnished, with adequate space for everything and "everyone". It was clean, tidy and tidy when I arrived, and I only enjoyed the sounds of nature. Hege, Randi and the rest of the family offered by themselves and I had a very nice time with them in the evenings in the sitting room and outside. Definitely a place I would consider staying overnight if I am nearby.”
The room is in the celler
“Nice basement apartment with large and nice bedroom. Own parking space. Been here many times and enjoy it every time! Recommended :-)”
As you can see the pichtures show you two cabins, built together. The new cabin have two bedrooms, bath and a smal kitchen. Separate toilet. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.
“We had the best of times in Magni's cabins. The cabins are adorable, very well heated and cozy, once you find your marks it is so easy to go your day enjoying how adorable everything is. It is well equiped for your stay, the beds are comfortable, the shower warm, the decor is so sweet and traditionnal. Very cozy with the fire. The separated cabins didnt bother us at all, even tho it was windy and snowy, it is just like walking a cold corridor to get to the beautiful living room area. It is end of February and we had SO MUCH snow !! You can basically put on your nordic skis at the cabin and just get to the tracks, or drive ten minutes up a moutain for fantastic cross country tracks, and even a cute little downhill station (Rena ski senter - worth a nice afternoon). The area is just beautiful everywhere. Less than 10 min drive from convenience stores and small take away. Last but not least, Magni really is the best host, so so kind and helpful, she made our stay 10 times better.”
