Kid-friendly vacation rentals in El Cabanyal, Poblats Marítims

My wife and I travelled to Valencia for treatment at IVI and needed to extend our trip at short notice and were looking for a place to stay a short drive from the clinic. Paloma answered all of my questions immediately and the booking was sorted within minutes! For the next week this home became our refuge and Paloma’s support and kindness was immeasurable. We felt instantly at home here. The place was very well taken care of and full of character. As collectors ourselves, we were delighted by the antiques and art. It felt like a museum full of discovery. Paloma was super responsive, always very helpful and replied to all questions and requests immediately. She was accommodating and flexible and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. The location was beautiful, walkable in all directions with no shortage of activities. There was even a 5k running track starting at the flat and following along the bio park which was such a joy for me. As a woman, the area felt safe at all times.

Fantastic place and a great host. Very spacious and in a great location. Within 8 to 10 minutes walk you have options for pretty much everything.

Fernando's place is super cozy! We had a very pleasant weekend! The accommodation is very close to the beach and has many services nearby. It's just like the photos, the beds are comfortable, with everything you need to feel at home. The host from minute one has answered very quickly and given many details or tips on what to do. He sent us an extensive list of restaurants, bars, things to do in the area! 10 out of 10! Thank you very much!

A fantastic stay at Silvia’s! She’s a brilliant host, very welcoming, responsive and with a great sense of humour! Silvia place is in fab spot for transport and 5 minutes walk over to the beautiful beaches. We hired bikes for the 3 days to cycle up through the park to the old town, along beach to Little Venice and also down to south beach and lagoon area in between cycling over to the university hockey pitches to take in the Masters euros( the reason for our visit), great cycle tracks throughout and highly recommend. Definetly be in touch with Silvia if (when) returning to Valencia. Thank you!

This place is exactly what we needed. Perfect location in a cool, vibrant neighborhood close to the beach and restaurants/bars. Fransisco was also very prompt with any questions we had, and helped set us up with a ride from the airport to the place. I'd highly recommend for anyone looking to visit the Cabanyal area of Valencia!

If I could give this place six stars, I would, and one extra just for Carmen’s smile alone. Staying at this Airbnb in Valencia felt less like booking a vacation rental and more like being lovingly adopted by the city itself. Let’s start with the location: perfection. You’re basically neighbors with the Mercat Central, which means every morning smells like fresh oranges and baked bread, and you’re steps away from all the magic; tapas bars, historic sights, and enough charming alleyways to get happily lost in at least once a day. Now, the apartment. Gorgeous. Bright, clean, full of character, and clearly designed by someone who loves the city and wants you to fall in love with it too. The kind of space that makes you pause mid-trip and say, “Do we have to go home?” But the real soul of this stay is Carmen. She’s not just a host, she’s a fairy godmother with Google Maps. Lovely apartment near the beach

Very nice apartment in a great location, very close to the beach. The host was very responsive and willing to provide useful information. Totally recommended!

We had wonderful days in Valencia! The accommodation is great for 2 people. It was all as described and very clean. The surroundings are great, small alleys with nice restaurants and shopping. Bus and train line is 5 min walk from the apartment, where you can easily get to the city. There you have nothing left ;) Beach and harbor are within 10 min walking distance. A great sandy beach that is not overcrowded. There are also many souvenir shops and good restaurants. Gema and Sandro are very nice and great hosts. We were always taken seriously. We were always answered directly and our concerns were taken care of. We would like to say thank you again, thank you for everything 🫶☀️ We would definitely come back!

A lovely place to stay next to the beach in the El Cabanyal district. It's a very interesting neighbourhood to stay: sometimes its a bit rough on the eye (as a former fisherman village, which is still being developed), but also hosts plenty of great coffee shops and a wide selection of excellent restaurants walking distance away - you can definitely feel that hip vibe. The apartment itself is very well equipped, we found everything we could've expected. Carlos and his son Pablo only communicate in Spanish - we did most of our talking with google translator, worked well. Overall, a great experience, would recommend.

Carls Apartment is in the perfect spot to explore Valencia. We worked remotely a couple of days and basically spent the whole day on the terrace! The sunroof is perfect to give you a nice cosy spot to work while having a great view. The apartment was also very clean and it was really easy to communicate with Carl. Can recommend!

The apartment is superb, faithful to the photos, even bigger in reality, the balcony for the morning sun and the terrace for the evening sun... What more could you ask for... Pablo is very responsive

We had a wonderful week in this apartment. It was spacious, nicely decorated, clean and equipped with every comfort - it felt like a home. The location was perfect; you can bike anywhere. We'd love to come back.

Harald’s place, right in the heart of Ruzafa, is such a perfect location from which to venture out and see Valencia. Most things are only a :20 walk, including the old city, the Grand Market, La Lonja, the Micalet, and even the Calatrava Palace of Arts & Science. But Ruzafa is also buzzing with nightlife, great restaurants, and culture. And, there’s an awesome market - Mercado De Ruzafa - about a one minute walk up the road. We stayed here for a week while chaperoning our son who was at a local camp. My husband and I ventured out most days and then he worked remotely during the evenings. We couldn’t have found a more perfect, comfortable, safe, fun, and all-around fantastic place than Harald’s. (@Harald - Thank you for letting us stay at your place and for answering some of our more unusual questions about what life is like living in Valencia! Your place is great, comfortable, and we love your design aesthetic!!)

Juan is particularly welcoming, friendly and caring. The apartment is perfect: quiet, with a great unobstructed view, close to a huge park, very well-equipped and very clean. The bedding is extremely comfortable. Everything was perfect, down to the smallest details: coffee, drinks, milk, cakes, shower gel, shampoo, medicine cabinet, etc. I can only warmly recommend Juan and I will rent his apartment again without hesitation. Thank you so much, everything was great.

We were delighted with the place, the beach a few minutes away on foot and we were able to use the pool as well. The apartment is very well equipped, spacious and clean. Everything is excellent 😃

Subjectively speaking, the accommodation is perfect, nobody needs more than that.

Casa Desiré was perfect for our stay. Centrally located, we could walk to anything in the city or easily get an Uber or Taxi to travel to see our son’s soccer games outside the city. There is so much to walk and see from this location. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed spending time on the terrace every evening, watching people below and listening to the music from the street performers as they performed in the plaza. The terrace was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine or beer after walking the city. It is close to grocery stores, shops and restaurants. Communication with the host was wonderful. Desiré recommended some great local pubs for watching soccer matches. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well during our stay. There is street noise from below, as it is located in the city center, but the noise was never an issue for us. The Central Market was so close, and had great local food. For us, this is definitely a 5 star accommodation!

From arrival to departure, our stay with Pilar was excellent. We were warmly welcomed by her and received helpful tips and recommendations for our short vacation in beautiful Valencia. The apartment was sparkling clean and we immediately felt at home. On foot you can get everywhere in a short time, it is also very easy to organize bicycles or taxis to explore the area. We felt very comfortable at all times and would definitely recommend the apartment. Thank you!

I can completely recommend this apartment. From its new build to the efforts the owners put in on the small details to ensure you walked into a perfectly presented place to spend valuable vacation time. They took time out to welcome us and were considerate and responsive when questions asked. Beach access and walkable restaurants is within easy access . I noted the neatness and care and attention taken in the arrangement of the facilities. Also the welcome bowl of fruit, water in fridge and coffee/biscuits that were left for us. For those who want to mix restaurant eating and self catering, there is a supermarket in walking distance to stock up if needed . Would be happy to return to same place when visiting Valencia again in the future
