A freshly renovated holiday home with a swimming pool (from mid April to mid October) awaits you with a direct view of Lake Sarnen and the Swiss Alps. Welcome to Appenzellerland, in the valley of the Silvesterchläuse, in Urnäsch, an old house with a separate entrance, a nice place to sit, directly on the Urnäsch (stream) and the Postbus stop towards Schwägalp, the duplex apartment was renovated in the 1970s, with a small kitchen and a spacious living room to linger in, simple, quiet and cozy and good to know, in the other part of the house (private entrance) my parents live, but this does not affect you.

The age makes up for the charm, but also brings a scratch here, a dust, some leafy paint and recurring cobwebs with them. The house was massively renovated in spring 2021 and equipped with a solar system. The house is ideal for family reunions or with friends.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space with a living area of around 125 m² surrounded by nature. Your exclusive getaway with 360-degree views of Säntis/Lake Constance and yet so close to attractions such as St.Gallen/Appenzell. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Sleeping in the greenhouse means being very close to the plants. A good bed awaits you and a warm stove lets you comfortably enjoy the time you spend with us. The house in the greenhouse is very well insulated and has a nice large wood-burning stove and a small electric stove. The walls are open with many windows. For privacy, it has thick curtains everywhere.

Surrounded by an idyllic garden with an inviting pergola, our house is the perfect retreat for nature lovers. Right outside the front door you will find hiking trails and in winter you can look forward to the nearby ski resorts. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

Peaceful oasis with fantastic lake views

We're excited to open our beautiful home to guests when we can't use it ourselves. It is a smaller terraced house (77 m ²). It has 2 bedrooms (double beds: 180 x 200 cm) and a bathroom. On the first floor is the kitchen, combined living/dining room and terrace with breathtaking lake and mountain views. It is a retreat and relaxation place overlooking nature. Unwind in the lounge and enjoy the relaxation time!

Fantastic mountain idyll: cozy house in the countryside

The house is surrounded by nature directly on the Thur overlooking Churfirsten and Säntis. It is ideally located for both summer and winter activities. A feel-good oasis for wonderful and relaxing vacations. In the immediate vicinity is a restaurant, shopping and public transport are about 30 minutes walk away. The ski resorts of Chäserrugg and Wildhaus can be reached in 5 minutes by car.

A modern studio, along with a social area

We are renting out a new, refurbished studio on the ground floor of our house in Sarmenstorf. It is situated in a small village in the countryside between Zurich and Lucerne. Nearby is a beautiful lake (Hallwilersee) and many other interesting sights. It is easily accessible by train / bus or by car (free parking available). There are shops situated in the village.
