There are excellent fishing opportunities in the river just below the cabin. The cabin is only a short trip away from Vøringsfossen, a very famous attraction in Eidfjord. 20 minutes by car takes you to the city center in Eidfjord, where you can experience fjords and mountains. There is great hiking terrain around the cabin, and it is only a short drive to hiking opportunities at Hardangervidda.

Cozy cabin near Vøringsfossen and hiking trails

Our small, cozy family cabin is located in the middle of the butter at the foot of Hardangervidda. 5 min walk to the convenience store there is also a fast charge for electric car. The cabin has electricity and water. The cabin is located on the sunny side of the valley and you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace with a lovely view. Remember to bring hiking shoes because here you will find endless opportunities for amazing mountain hikes. In the winter you can go skiing and slide right down the ski slopes of Sysendalen. Or walk a few hundred meters up to the ski lift.

An outdoor deck features a wooden flooring area with two reclining chairs and a small table. A spacious seating arrangement is present, allowing for relaxation while enjoying the surrounding mountain views.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of hiking opportunities. Large and well-equipped cabin. Garage. Prepared ski slopes just below. In the summer there is a bike/hiking road there. Short drive to the alpine at the Maurset There is 3 km to the charging station and colonial. In the summer there is also an open colonial shop within walking distance of the cabin. Short driving distance to Vøringsfossen. It is 20 min to Eidfjord. There are 2 cots for 0-2 years. 1 junior bed. 1 high chair, 2 junior chairs Toys and puzzles for kids.

Lovely mountain apartment at Maurset

Welcome to our great cabin apartment! Here you have all you need with lovely hiking trails just outside the door all year round, as well as walking distance to ski slopes. The cabin is peaceful and spacious and offers all modern facilities such as fiber broadband, driving all the way and 200 meters to convenience store with charging stations (Eviny/Tesla). Shop is open 7-23 every day. The apartment is the most sheltered in the field, with unobstructed views. The apartment must be left in the same condition as upon arrival.

Velkommen til vår flotte hytte! Hytten ble bygget sommeren 2022 og ligger i et fantastisk fjellområde et lite stykke ovenfor Vøringsfoss, ved foten av Hardangervidda nasjonalpark. Hytten disponerer to parkeringsplasser på privat parkeringsplass tilhørende Åstestølen hyttefelt. Det er kommunal vei helt til parkeringsplassen og en kort gåtur til hytten, på grussti. Det er et meget rolig og etablert hytteområde med hyggelige naboer. Kort vei til nærbutikk på Maurset, alpinanlegg og merkede stier

Fossli, a cozy timber cabin for the adventurous! It is located just by the Vøringfoss waterfall at the rim of the Hardanger mountain plateau. Beautiful hiking tracks in summer and in winter there are cross country skiing tracks and a ski lift at Sysendalen - Maurset. Skiing routes / tracks for cross country skiing is found at www.skisporet.no - Sysendalen usually about 300m from the cabin. The cabin is cozy and simple, and river just 100 meters below with possibility fishing trout.

Velkomen til dette vakre huset frå 1930-talet. Her har min grandonkel budd og seinare nytta tanta mi det som sommarhus fram til ho vart 99 år gammal. Det er mykje historie i veggane. - Welcome to Ringøy! Relax at this peaceful place surrounded by mountains and fjords. 10km from Kinsarvik. A spacious outdoor area, a cozy living room, kitchen and two bed rooms. Bed linen and towels included. We recommend The Queens Trail, the Husedalen valley, the Vøringsfossen waterfall and hiking Oksen.

Right by Vøringsfossen! Here you can enjoy amazing nature right outside the door. A place for those who appreciate the “simple life”, in a calm setting with beautiful views. There's a steep path up to the cabin that takes about 10 minutes. You must bring linen and towels. Bring your own firewood and you wash the cabin yourself. Close by the Hardangerfjord , and acsess to my private place if I am not using it . You get the Norwegian nature and the mountain right into the living room with the big windows. And if you're lucky you get to see the hares coming bouncing around the cabin. Often they come all the way up to the terrace.
