The center of the cozy cheese town of Alkmaar can easily be reached by bus with 20 minutes. A day in Amsterdam is also a possibility. From the train station (Heiloo or Alkmaar) every half hour a train goes to A'dam.

This holiday house in the back of my garden offers the excellent retreat if you want to experience the beauty of the Dutch dunes and beaches and escape the hectic city life. The house is located in a quiet street, walking distance from the beach (10 min) . Egmond aan Zee is one of the most beautiful areas in The Netherlands only 30 minutes by train from Amsterdam (station Heiloo is 5 km from Egmond aan Zee). Excellent for hikes and cycling. There is a storage for the bikes with the house.

Three minutes walk from the beach. N/A : from July 1 to September 1, the cottage can only be booked per week, from Saturday to free/sitting.

We would like to welcome you to our beautiful summer cottage. Centrally located near the dunes, the beach and the cozy center of Egmond aan Zee. Through your own entrance you enter the cozy living room with 3 sofa with stool, dining table with 4 chairs, kitchen and the bathroom. Upstairs there is a sleeping area with sink, double bed (140 x 200) and a single bed (80 x 200). Our cottage has a private terrace with table and 4 chairs and is equipped with a sunshade.

Egmond aan Zee - Nice house near beach and dunes!

Just north of the lighthouse, 100 m. from the beach and the dunes, is our cozy cottage for 1 - 3 people. The village center is about 300 meters away. When you come back from the beach, you can enjoy the sun on your own terrace. In the late and early season you can also come to us for a weekend, midweek or a few individual holidays. We only rent to tourists without babies. We do not rent to foreign employees/temporary agencies.

We went on a trip to the sea with 3 friends and were looking for an overnight stay where all 3 of us could stay in a reasonable bed in a nice apartment atmosphere and not in a small hotel room. The apartment is also well suited for families or single parents with slightly older children (because of the stairs to the sleeping area). I saved it as a favorite in case we want to go back to Egmond aan See with our son.

A very nice place to stay that is exactly as described in the pictures. By bike you can reach Egmond aan Zee in a few minutes. Also, from there you have a lot of possibilities to get to other places through very good bus connections and train connections. The hosts are very friendly, although they live right next door in the summer months, you don't hear or see the two. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back .

Sonja's place is very nice and privately located. The possibility to kayak through the canals was also great. We will be happy to come back.

The location of the house was very central. The house lacked nothing, everything was very clean and cozy. A beautiful fresh bouquet of roses stood on the table. Information about the apartment was well described. Ester gave us tips on what to do. Thanks, we enjoyed the 5 days of vacation.

Enjoyed this beautiful b&b, felt right at home. Very fully furnished. Nice kitchen to sit in. Enjoyed a varied breakfast, really a treat! Good bed, beautiful bedroom with excellent blackout curtains. Would definitely recommend this b&b!

It was the perfect birthday present for our mother! The accommodation is very lovingly decorated, cozy, clean, a nice terrace! Everything is within walking distance - supermarket, bakery, beach! Very special highlights were our bike ride through the dunes and the weekly market. Everyone was very friendly in the village. Jolijn herself was always easy to reach and helped directly with questions! Thank you! Overall we had a wonderful time - happy to come back! Thank you thank you thank you!
