The beautiful house was very individually decorated, very bright inside and equipped with private furniture. Everything was clean and upon arrival the very likeable house owner Jan directly welcomed us, explained the house and gave us tips for the area - for example where we can find a cheap bike rental. Joffry takes care of the house and was very accessible. We especially enjoyed the harmony of the house and garden. In the garden there were two chickens that laid fresh breakfast eggs. From the house you can look out on a magnificent dune landscape where you can hike or cycle. The nearest beach is only 15 minutes by bike - if you prefer a secluded beach section, you can go a few minutes further. We really liked the nearest town Alkmaar with its many historic houses, restaurants, cafes and picturesque canals. We would very much like to rent the beautiful house again from Jan and Joffry. We stayed at Chantal's house with our two-year-old daughter and had a great time. The house is very cozy and with everything you need. In the garden you can relax and play. The planes can be heard, but it didn't bother us. We rented bikes and did many nice tours in the area. The staff at the park were also very friendly and there were great play opportunities for our daughter there. Chantal also provides many ideas for excursions. We highly recommend Chantal's house! :)

We really enjoyed our stay at the little cottage. The cottage was really cozy and the garden was beautiful. It is an one hour walk to the beach through a beautiful dune park. We would definetly come back :)

Great place to stay with a great host, and we used the bikes provided often. Only 5 min bike ride to the train station & grocery store. Photos are a little outdated and it can get cold due to the nature of the construction.

A very cute and quaint place with lots of small, loving retro details. Only the smell of the petroleum heater was a bit strict if you are not used to such a heater. If you are traveling to Holland because of the tulip bloom, the cabin is a good (starting)place. Especially to be commended is the great communication with the hostess!

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and nice place to relax with your family, then this is the right place. Host responds very quickly, even offered us to arrive earlier than the scheduled time. The place is wonderful, I definitely recommend it.

The space is lovingly and individually decorated. The surroundings were pleasantly quiet and the location in North Holland is great. The contacts were pleasant, the accessibility of the accommodation was great and inquiries were answered quickly and nicely.

We were with two families (4 adults and 3 smaller children) in Vreny's and Bart's house. We felt very comfortable and were grateful for many small things such as a crib or a stair gate, which are not self-evident. Kitchen was also superbly equipped. The rooms are rather small, which was very convenient for our room layout. You can hear the train and planes in the distance, but it was never so loud that it bothered us. Our children found watching the train on the way to the playground or supermarket rather exciting (and were probably often louder themselves...). Since we were there in the summer and usually had good weather, we were often on the beach. By car, finding a parking space can be difficult. If you have a bike, you should definitely take it with you and use it. Otherwise, we liked to use the garden and barbecued there. We would gladly come back. The apartment was very nice and surrounded by nature. We quickly felt like at home. The panoramic view of nature is good for the soul. All the technology worked well. The amenities were very good in every respect. Bicycles brought along could be safely and dryly accommodated in a barn. And the hosts were very warm and welcomed us warmly. I'm sure we'll be back. 😍

with kids in the caravan was super. The area is so beautiful....robins , bunnies, silence (occasionally a plane) you can go to the fine beach of castricum by the sea (10 minutes by bike) clean toilet sticks. You can rent bicycles for the children and go-karts. Playground and nice activities.

We were received in a very friendly manner at the accommodation and everything was explained to us in detail. A small welcome gift was also there :) We highly recommend Jacqueline's place. If we were to go to Sint Maartenvlotbrug again, we would be happy to stay here again. Thank you again for everything :)

The chalet met our expectations. It is located above and belonging to one of the oldest and most beautiful hotels in the village: modern shower, good bed with firm mattress, the kitchen is also functionally equipped. A very solid place to stay. If you have any questions, someone is always available. As a dog owner, we liked the location very much. The dune, where all dog owners felt like they did their morning and evening laps with the four-legged friend, is right across the street from the hotel/ chalet. Dogs are welcome everywhere. The beach is 100 meters away You can walk to the Spar supermarket in the morning in 10 minutes. We will be happy to come back.

Anouk is a very friendly and caring hostess. She prepared our arrival very well and was always available to us. In the small, bright and cozy cottage with the very idyllic garden, we immediately felt comfortable. The beautiful surroundings invite you to take long walks and great bike rides. In the 10 days we saw and experienced so much beauty and after each excursion we always returned to the cottage very happily. Thank you dear Anouk
