Zum Haus gehört ein Ruderboot, welches gegen Gebühr (10 €/T.) benutzt werden kann. Von der große Außenterasse kann man Kraniche und Störche in der zum Hof gehörenden Wiese beobachten. Das Kloster Chorin und das Ökodorf Brodowin sind jeweils mit dem Auto in 15 Minuten (Fahrrad 30 Min.) zu erreichen.

Das Ferienhaus liegt im Biosphärenreservat Schorfheide - Chorin und lädt zu jeder Jahreszeit zu einem entspannten Urlaub auf dem Land ein. Das Haus befindet sich im kleinen Dorf Altenhof, direkt am Werbellinsee, welcher nur 300 m entfernt, zum Baden, Wassersport und Spazieren einlädt. Zum Haus gehört ein großes Grundstück, viel Wiese und im Sommer schattenspendende Bäume. Wald und Wiesen grenzen unmittelbar ans Grundstück und locken zu jeder Jahreszeit in die Natur. Es gibt keinen Fernseher!
