The area offers beautiful sea and hiking areas for forests and mountains, as well as spectacular conditions for northern lights at the cabin. Walking distance to grocery store, beach/fishing, Sandsvannet, barbecue hut, ski slope and soccer field. Malangen Resort and dog sledding is a short drive of about 7 minutes. Tromsø is about 1 hour by car.

Atmospheric red cabin

Atmospheric red cottage in the village of Rautiosaari by the river 16km from Rovaniemi city center. Your own car is necessary. Parking space is easy to find in front of the cottage. Car heating is also possible. From your own yard you can go directly to the river for outdoor activities and ice fishing. For the youngest in the family, there is a sledding hill (2 sleds) and the Rautiosaari ski trail starts 300m away. Linens and towels are included. The host is nearby, if you have any questions or problems, you can contact them by phone.

Enjoy the tranquility in beautiful nature, with walking distance to the swimming area and smooth public transport to Gothenburg (bus station 500 meters from the house with direct bus into Gothenburg in 25 minutes). A perfect summer oasis for 1-4 people, if you bring your own air mattress, the house can accommodate more! Sheets and towels are included! Mc Donalds, Ok/Q8 about 5 min by car. Landvetter airport 7 minutes by car. Travel bed (crib) for baby, high chair and changing table can be borrowed free of charge.

The condo is in mint shape, modern and very private. Restaurants, bars just steps away The classic style historical building was designed by architect Ernő Balázs for Baron Hammerstein and built in the year of 1908. Nowadays the building is missing maintenance betraying its once majestic charm.

Written originally in english. Sandhill Cottage is a compact house close to the train and bus-stations. This cozy getaway is perfect for example Onnibus and Santa´s Express travellers. From the Airport you can get a shuttle-bus to the train station or have a 15-minute taxi drive to enjoy your stay. Our home has the utilities for 6 people to relax, cook and get warm after a full day of snow fun! We live in the other building on the same ground and are ready to help and welcome you with our husky!
