Walden is located in the middle of the unique coulissen landscape of the Frisian woods. Trees, hedges and wooded borders surround the meadows. With grasslands, water, and patches of forest in between. It looks cozy, those grasslands among the trees. Smûk, we say in Frisian. As many as 250 species of birds and many other animals live here. The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

Welcome to Friese Wergea, located within cycling distance of Leeuwarden, the Alde Feanen National Park, and the water sports village of Grou. Welcome also to our old farmhouse, where part of the former stable has been transformed into a charming B&B. Uniquely decorated with lots of art on the walls and a well-stocked bookcase. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room. Breakfast included.

Villa Rose (on the waterfront)

Stay in one of the most beautiful villas in Friesland. The entire upper floor is at your disposal. Includes bathroom with bath (no bubbles), a living room with luxury sofa and television with Netflix, Videoland and a mini kitchen with microwave, fridge and dishwasher. PUUR Eastermar - Authentic and luxurious coach house.

Koetshuis Puur Eastermar is an exclusive apartment in the former coach house of our monumental farmhouse from 1860. The farm is located on De Lits between Burgumermeer and De Leyen. With its own jetty, this location is an excellent base for water sports or just to enjoy the breathtaking views. The area is also very suitable for hiking and biking in the typical coulisse landscape. The coach house is very spacious (75m2) and equipped with every comfort.

Huisje Noor

Sleeping outdoors with a touch of comfort! Here you will find a luxuriously furnished gypsy wagon with its own outdoor bathroom. The Pipo wagon is equipped with a good double bed, a coffee maker, a nice SMEG kettle, fridge, lighting and a nice, luxurious atmosphere. The cottage overlooks a pond and pastures where horses, goats, chickens and ducks stay.

Tiny House in former pumping station offers opportunity to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature in the area. There are numerous cycling and hiking opportunities. The tiny house is equipped with a sleeping loft, kitchen, bathroom and dining area. The pumping station was completely transformed into a residence in 2022. Outside, you can use various terraces.
