This place is absolutely stunning with breath taking views and surrounding and has all the required amenities and the property is very beautiful and located very close to MG Marg. The host took care of us very well and their complimentary breakfast is something which we love so much, it’s absolute delight. If you are planning to visit Gangtok this place should be your natural choice, felt as if we were at home. It's tucked away in the beautiful and untouched Himalayan village of Lopchu. Keshav and his family were incredibly warm — their hospitality was truly something else. I stayed here with my older parents, and we were made to feel completely at home, like part of the family. Getting there can be a bit tricky, but with Keshav around to guide you, it’s totally manageable. I’d love to come back and stay longer next time. P.S. You can take a peaceful walk around the tea garden nearby. They also served us lovely homely food for dinner at a very reasonable price.

We enjoyed our stay with our pets at the beautiful homestay. The house is very well maintained and overlooks a valley and a hill. The house has a beautiful garden also. The ambience of the place is very peaceful. Sujata, the owner, cooked tasty meals for us and our pet dogs. Overall a very enjoyable and comforting experience.

It was a Memorable stay at kessang’s homestay…extremely peaceful & pristine environment, surrounded with forest, organic farms…home cooked meals made from local ingredients…he is a great chef, I enjoyed every meal he prepared…perfect place if you are also travelling with your pets….lots to do around, places to visit….overall had a wonderful stay here….will visit again…

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The property features a beautiful garden—perfect for relaxing and enjoying some peaceful downtime. Prashant ji was an exceptional host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He guided us with our local travel plans and shared excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dining. The whole experience felt more like staying at a friend’s home—a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Highly recommended!

The property is located in the mid of a tea garden. Beautiful place. Perfect for spending some time in the midst of lush green scenic beauty. On top of it Rebika is an awesome host. She took care of us very well. Approaching road is not perfect. But it's worth the trouble once you reach the place.

Easily among the most pleasant and memorable stays we have had during our family road trips! Beautiful surroundings, great view of Kanchenjunga (sunset even better than sunrise), caring and responsive support staff. Sonam and family are kind, responsive and gracious hosts - we were especially lucky to spend an evening with them around the delicious barbecue they were having. Mrs. and Mr. Kazi Sherpa are delightful storytellers - we'll always cherish our time with them. Whole heartedly recommend Sherpa Villa for a peaceful, beautiful stay in Gangtok!

This was my first time staying in Mangpoo and I would stay here again. The setting is magical. Close to Rabindra Bhavan, which was my only real point of attraction besides the lovely hills seen from Kalpana's place, the living room, the rooftop etc. Great place also to just study, with the living room fronting the bedroom. I enjoyed the home cooked fund too! Wonderful.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful 2BHK flat in Gangtok. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had a very homely vibe. Both bedrooms were comfortable, the living area was cozy, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The view from the balcony was stunning — waking up to the sight of the mountains was an unforgettable experience. The location was ideal too — peaceful and quiet, yet just a short ride away from MG Marg and other key spots. Our host was fantastic — very warm, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. Overall, it was one of the best stays we’ve had on Airbnb. Whether you're visiting Gangtok for the first time or returning, I’d highly recommend this flat for a comfortable and memorable stay. Would love to come back again.

The unit was very clean and well maintained with a modern-feel . Mr. Sangay was very helpful throughout our stay. He was prompt in offering any assistance required. The location provides a beautiful balcony view and is easily accessible by both local and private transport. Would be happy to return here next time!

This was a wonderful relaxation retreat, The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There are many "suites" to choose from in this property. The restaurant was lovely, The pool was nice but too cold to use in December.

A truly exceptional stay. The property was well-equipped, impeccably clean, and offered a breathtaking 10/10 view — we could even see Kanchenjunga from both the living room and bedroom. We enjoyed cooking meals, listening to music, and relaxing with wine. A special thanks to Prasan, the caretaker, who was incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommended for a peaceful, scenic getaway.

The house was very clean and the view from the Balcony was stunning. All the basic utensils Needed to cook was provided. Another point which is worth mentioning is the bathroom was clean. The staff were very helpful and responsive. I will definitely will like to stay again if I visit Kalimpong again. Thank you Leon, Prasan and all the staff.

Tashi's Homestay offers a warm and welcoming experience nestled in the heart of nature. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained, and the view from balcony is just awesome. Tashi and his family are incredibly hospitable, making guests feel at home. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy true Himalayan hospitality. One of the best parts is that there's no need to walk—taxis drop you right at the doorstep. The price is very reasonable, making it a great value.

This place was new in listing but we either ways went ahead and booked it. We wanted a place with basic amenities to stay away from new year crowd. Starting from the time we booked this place till the time we left, Mr. and Mrs. Gyamtso were always there to help. A perfect host indeed. Though we did not meet them personally but they were very responsive over chats and calls. Their care taker Sanjeev Bhaiya was always a call away if we needed anything. The view from the balcony makes it all worth it. The taxi stand is just below the apartment and you can get a shared cab to MG road in 30 rupees only and it’s a 15 mins drive. It’s a Very clean and organised place. The property is on 5th floor but easy to climb with slow pace. If you have luggage, Sanjeev bhaiya will help you get that to and fro across the floor. A must stay when in Gangtok.

I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.

The Description does justice to the actual place, however expected the place to be a bit more spacious it was a snug fit for 7 people. pros Clean place responsive host good location as food is easily accessible cons the neighbours were a bit noisy WiFi has relatively low speed (4mbps) the property is located in a small street so big cars plan accordingly overall good value for money and a very good host would recommend and stay again
