Cottage vacation rentals in East Kootenay

Beautiful cottage to stay at. Great location that’s right on the riverside. It allowed for an amazing private stay while still having a great view out of all the windows.

Our stay at Jeremy and Caileigh’s cabin was all we could have wished for. From the outset, Jeremy was communicative with us and replied promptly to any enquiries. The cabin was lovely and although it was spacious, it had a cozy feel. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the living areas gave us plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was surprisingly well-stocked in every sense….spices and condiments were available to us, there were lots of dishes and glassware, as well as pots and pans. We loved our time in Windermere and would highly recommend the cabin. Many thanks to Jeremy and Caileigh.

The Cottage in the Woods is a wonderful retreat for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The house was comfortable and had all the amenities our family required. It's close to town and has easy access to many activities in the area. Terrific place! We loved it!

Beautiful place, loved how close it was to the beach, nice big patio, very comfortable. Would 100 percent go back.

Beautiful view!! Lovely little path to go down to the water. Looks just like the pictures but was even larger and more spacious than we were expecting. You can tell people may have not respected the property in the past as there are a few broken things and some stains on the carpets. But that stuff did not affect our stay at all. Would recommend this Airbnb for a group of friends. Only suggestion I have is adding a mattress topper or a new mattress on the one bed in the basement. It was quite firm and you could feel the frame through the bed. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely book again.

We had a fantastic stay at Ryan's house by the lake! The property was peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. Waking up to the view of the water every morning was a dream. The house had everything we needed — from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy beds and thoughtful touches throughout. Ryan was a great host — responsive, helpful, and respectful of our privacy. Whether relaxing on the deck, enjoying the lake, or just sitting by the fire-pit in the evening, this place gave us the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and scenic escape. We’d love to come back again!

Had an amazing weekend at their cottage! lots of beds and room inside & the firepit & hot tub provide lots of fun outdoors. wouldn’t change a thing!

The location of the cottage is amazing! It was a trip of a lifetime coming from Florida. We absolutely loved the mountain views, firepit, and hot tub. Great kitchen and AC too. It's a nice place for peace and quiet and access to multiple national parks. We will be back!

We enjoyed exploring the Elbow River only a stort walk from the Cabin. we woke up to seeing some deer run through un the morning. a perfect sport to explore the area. the Cabin was cozy, and had more things then in the photos. a camping stove, a bit of kitchen supplies. we would definitely recommend this location.

The place itself is amazing, the lake is right there for you to enjoy and Aita left all the tools you need to do so which is very much welcome! We had a lot of fun, exploring nearby areas as well not just the lake However, a word of caution and I know this is probably outside the host’s control is that the neighbours from the big white house just before Aita’s place can be very loud and not considerate of others trying to enjoy it The houses are very close to each other and a couple of the nights that neighbour was operating some machines, maybe an ATV? Snowmobile? Not sure but it was extremely loud and woke us all up at 11pm Moreover their dog kept coming after our dogs, which are protective of their place of sleep, so we couldn’t enjoy the lake with our dogs because they were bigger and we were afraid of something bad happening Also they used Aita’s tools without even knowing who was the owner, I know because they asked if I was the owner (??) when giving the boat back

We had a great two-night stay in Coleman. We were in town for races that ended up getting cancelled for weather, so we made the most of the cabin and its amenities (games, well-stocked kitchen, space to spread out, popcorn machine) during our rainy weekend. Easy walk to a few places nearby, or very quick drive to more in Blairmont. Check-in and check-out were easy with a keypad and clear instructions. Beds and linens were comfy and clean. As mentioned, the bunk beds are in the basement with the washer and dryer, but the one of us that slept down there was very happy and comfortable. Highly recommended for a base to explore Crowsnest.

Amazing place to stay with a larger group. Backyard was massive, great area for activities.

We loved staying at Pearl’s! The cottage had everything we needed and more. Pearl had recently installed a new fire place and left us some local homemade bread and jam. She also had plenty of recommendations and knowledge of the surrounding areas!

Location was great, backyard and lake were awesome spots to hang out outside. Perfect for bigger groups, lots of beds/couches for sleeping.

Maria’s cottage was perfect. We had a group of 6 guys on a 4 day golf trip and this place was the best combo of comfort, and convenience. The upstairs offered a great place for everyone congregate around the table or the couch. The covered porch and outdoor sitting area was the best to wake up to every morning. We made great use of how close it was to the beach and went for multiple swims everyday. The street was quiet and had basically zero traffic which allowed for multiple sightings of deer right up into the driveway. Maria was an excellent host and had things set up wonderfully. I can’t say enough good things about it. If you are ever looking to enjoy some time in and around Invermere, this cottage is the perfect place to be.
