Our thatched Saxon farmhouse is located in the center of the unique village of Orvelte. Orvelte is one of the most beautiful villages in the Netherlands and was founded in the 10th century. The monumental farms and the streets lined with cobblestones and old bricks give the village a nostalgic atmosphere. There is a lot to experience in and around Orvelte, art and culture and plenty of recreation. In short, a wonderful location, centrally located in beautiful Drenthe, to get away from it all.

Midden in het centrum van Winsum , volgens de ANWB het mooiste dorp van Nederland, staat onze B&B De krakende wagens. Achter in onze tuin zijn 2 verbouwde pipowagens en 2 huifkarren als accommodatie beschikbaar. Ze zijn zowel apart als gezamenlijk te boeken. De krakende wagens hebben we zelf verbouwd tot B&B. Verwacht dus geen topafwerking, maar alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig. Wij serveren 's ochtends een uitgebreid ontbijt aan onze gasten met voldoende om nog een lunchpakket te maken.

Wil je lekker tot rust komen, dan zit je hier prima. Landelijk gelegen, sfeervolle en rustige plek, op 10 km afstand van de stad Groningen en 3,2 km vd airport. het dorp is op 1,5 km afstand. Hoewel we achter het vliegveld wonen, hebben we daar geen geluidshinder van. Fietsen, wandelen, hardlopen, zeilen op het Paterswoldsemeer, Hoornse Plas. Eelde/Paterswolde is een dorp met meerdere kernen. Bezienswaardigheden, Museum De Buitenplaats, Landgoed Lemferdinge, Friescheveen.

Ich biete ein Zimmer in meinem Haus für zwei Personen an. Das große, helle Bad kann auch mitbenutzt werden. Auf Wunsch gibt es ein leckeres, stärkendes, aber einfaches Frühstück. Papenburg ist mit dem Auto in etwa 15 Minuten zu erreichen, aber auch Surwold hat einiges zu bieten. Ausgedehnte Spaziergänge oder auch ein Besuch der Meyerwerft bieten sich unter anderem an. Ich bin Ihnen gerne behilflich.

Welkom op Gruunlaand, onze rustplek, woonhuis en gastenverblijf met bijna 3000m2 grond. In onze schuur bieden we vier slaapkamers aan met 3 comfortabele tweepersoons bedden en 2 enkele bedden. Er zijn vier aparte toiletten, drie badkamers met douche, een keuken met alle benodigde apparatuur, en een leefruimte waar je gebruik van kunt maken om te werken, lezen en relaxen.
