Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. Really lovely hosts always ensuring everything was just perfect. Very thoughtful leaving little local gifts of yoghurt and fruit for us. It is a very quiet place, great views and walks close by. I would say hire car important to explore the local Urdaubai area.

We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

From the second I booked the beautiful villa in Sunbilla with Carmen and José, they took great care of advising with best activities, supporting with arrival and providing a wonderful clean home with all necessary amenities. We especially loved the restaurant elotxuri and the lake in natural reserve. We would love to come back when the pool is open next time. Thank you Carmen and José!

Fantastic hospitality the people of Catalan are very friendly and the property was amazing but you definitely need a car to stay here as there nothing around no shops

We went to spend the weekend with the family, 3 couples with 2 children. The house is much better than it looks in photos, it has incredible views, we were delighted so much by space, cleanliness, house amenities. It has a great fireplace, radiant heating, bathtub and hydromassage shower. Tomás and Izaskun are lovely have advised us what route to do and which to visit, they are very attentive and friendly. The house has BBQ outside on a covered snack. There is Ping pong, and terrain for children to play inside the grounds of the house. It was great and we hope to come back. For me personally the best rural stay I've had.

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! Wow, what great house. The location is absolutely stunning in a little village with beautiful mountain views. The house itself is great—they’ve done a great job renovating and the whole thing feels very new and fresh and clean. A perfect place for a peaceful escape. Great communication as well. I would definitely stay here again.

The house is lovely and Antonio is an incredibly helpful host giving us lots of information. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great for us so the views weren't as beautiful as the pictures. I would say if you're looking for peace and quiet the house is perfect, but to do things other than hiking, you will need to do a fair bit of driving.

We had a great stay at this house. It is spacious and very well furnished, nicely furnished and it is pleasant to stay there. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed it, the covered terrace allows you to eat outside even when it rains. The host is very friendly and accommodating.

Fermin and Amelia are awesome. We are so thankful for their hospitality and their lovely home. Etxalar is amazing. One of the most beautfiful towns we have visited. Fermín y Amelia son increíbles. The house is incredible! Great for large groups and with plenty of room. Clean and spacious rooms and a huge garden with a covered barbecue. The kitchen is also very well equipped. If you want to be relaxed with friends/family, this is your place. Communication with Jorge was very easy and immediate. Spending a weekend in a castle was amazing! We would definitely do it again! 😊

The accommodation and its hosts, exceptional. The house offers many possibilities to enjoy the outdoors, games and exceptional livability and comfort. It's worth spending enough time to enjoy both the house and the surroundings. Enclave privileged by the view. It's perfect for relaxing if you're going through but you'd also like to stay longer. You sit on a family farm. The host was very attentive to our arrival

This house was absolutely breathtaking. Although it is not in a main city it is definitely close by and worth a stay. This place overlooks a beautiful vineyard and makes you feel like you're in a little oasis. The outdoor entertainment was amazing with an outdoor kitchen and barbecue that allows for wonderful nights enjoying your time. The views are incredible, the town is peaceful. Hosts were extremely kind, helpful and gave great recommendations.

A very complete house, we were a group of friends with children. And it offered us everything we were looking for. A detail is the foosball, the ping pong and the squash court!

Hi Susanna Janeen and I loved staying in your cosy stone cottage by a river with a beautiful timbered setting. Easy to to, convenient location as we had a car. Well equipped, Comfortable and with great innovative furnishing ideas. Very interesting village close by with everything one could want. thanks a lot, Jon & Janeen.

The house was really nice. As shown and had everything we needed. Great to be able to bring our dog, and the two outdoor spaces were a real bonus. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the shower is excellent. Restaurants nearby were very overhyped on Google. Lovely walks straight from the house or a short drive, and a lake about 20 mins away was great for a swim. We didn’t meet the owner, but communication was fast and helpful.

the house is great for groups (up to 30, I think they can fit in without problems) It has a large dining room, lots of dishes, a BBQ area and a large garden! the only thing is that the bathrooms are outside the rooms.

The accommodation is a beautiful old restored house. The hosts are very nice and attentive, with very good recommendations about the area and taking care of everything with great detail, flowers in vases, numerous guides about the area... to return 100x100! Many thanks Cristina and Pablo
