Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Dutchess County

we stayed at Garrett's while attending a retreat at Omega. it's a beautiful little home on a gorgeous property. very comfortable and clean, it is a very charming space.

This was a few nights getaway with my two adult daughters. The house is adorable, neat and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Felt right at home. We did a little kayaking on the lake, which was beautiful. The weather wasn’t perfect, but we made the best of it and enjoyed each other’s company. The neighborhood was very quaint. We took a walk around the lake. Nicole was very responsive whenever I messaged her. We felt very comfortable being there. I would highly recommend this home.

This was a wonderful find and stay. We are very thankful to have found it. The attention to detail in this home is beyond appreciated. From the light switches to the furnishings and beyond it was perfect for us. Thank you so much. We will definitely return when in area.

Juliana and Paul were great hosts! There was a storm the day we arrived and they communicated about the towns power outage before our arrival. They had generators on hand and Paul set up the generator and had many extension cords, flashlights and called local supermarkets/restaurants for us. Luckily the outage was just a few hours. The place was clean and spotless. It was quiet and a short drive into Main Street where you can find restaurants. It is close to many beautiful hikes. We would certainly return as it was a joy to stay in such a peaceful home.

Still gleaming from an unforgettable stay at Willow Vale which is hands down a 5-star gem! The design of the house is one-of-kind where every detail piques curiosity and wonder. The library stole our hearts from the start, brimming with an extensive book collection and unique treasures. We sat by the fire here every night. The sunroom was the perfect daytime spot where we napped, worked, ate and played games. It’s impossible not to fall in love with the kitchen…we cooked almost every meal. Enjoying the hot tub under the stars was a highlight. We loved that there was a telescope and took advantage of it. The river was serene with a perfect swimming hole…and cold plunge! The house is secluded and there is so much to do nearby. It’s truly the land of hidden gems. Stissing House for dinner is a MUST. As their home might suggest, Matt and Whitney go above and beyond as hosts. They made this family vacation special for us in every possible way. We cannot wait to return!!!

Millstone Manor is our go-to when in this area which is twice a year due to having lived in the town and having family two minutes down the road. Richard is an awesome host, friendly and helpful and truly wants his guests to enjoy the space and their stay. The house is super well appointed, we haven't found anything missing or that we had to run out for in regard to kitchen or bath amenities, coffee, soaps, laundry, etc. Always feels like coming home!

We had a wonderful stay at Jan's place. It was exactly what we were hoping for: The place itself was a great location, the aesthetics were very pleasing, the beds were comfortable, and it felt very relaxing to be there. And for anything that we needed, Jan responded very quickly and with care.

Nick's place is absolutely stunning. I loved watching the sunrise from bed, and the river views were amazing. The house was spotless and beautifully designed. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Carin’s place for a short getaway to Kingston - we appreciated the local food recommendations and went for some great hikes in the area. While we can understand why people might have an issue with the train, we already have a habit of sleeping with earplugs so didn’t find it an issue (Carin also provides complementary earplugs). Thanks and we would stay again!

Miryan’s place is the perfect location for exploring Beacon and the surrounding Hudson River Valley. From the front door, you can walk to all that Beacon has to offer including restaurants and shops, but also hiking trails. The apartment is very peaceful and quiet, but just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Main Street. The apartment itself surpassed our expectations —- especially the kitchen, which is stocked with everything you might need to cook a meal as well as a nice big table to gather round. I would definitely stay here again.

John and Emma's place is exactly as described. It is neat and comfortable. You can tell they put a lot of care into making the place feel welcoming. It is on a busy corner so that might be off-putting to some, but it was fairly quiet on the days we were there. You are able to walk to town to many restaurants, shops, and ice cream and there is a big grocery store just down the road.

Val’s place was incredibly clean and comfortable. We felt right at home and had everything we needed. It was beautiful, inside and outside, and perfect for our family. My 2 year old was cutting teeth all night and I couldn’t have imagined a more comfortable place for us to muddle through outside our home. We even had a family “camp out” in the lovely living room in front of the fireplace. The instructions were perfectly clear with helpful visuals. I would recommend Val’s place to anyone needing to stay in the area or looking for a cozy retreat.

Genuinely one of the most charming and delightful airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! Julian was super communicative and he gave us plenty of suggestions for places to explore in the area. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at Ann Marie’s place. It’s just like the pictures, and she absolutely deserves her super host rating! She was friendly and incredibly responsive, provided recommendations for the area, and told us everything we needed to know. The place was clean and stocked with all sorts of extra amenities you don’t usually find with Airbnb (snacks, travel toiletries, extra towels, hotel bathrobes, wrapped chocolate by the bed, water/milk/juice in the fridge, and more). We had a lovely swim in the pool and enjoyed wandering around Beacon and surrounding area. We would love to come back! Thank you so much, Ann Marie!

Beautiful property and unique farmhouse. The grounds were well kept and Whitney was welcoming and accommodating. We sipped coffee in the garden terrace in the mornings and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evenings. Highly recommend, wonderful spot!

We absolutely loved our stay. The place is gorgeous- pictures don’t do it justice. Eden was extremely kind and responsive, and truly helped make our stay incredible. We hope to come back soon!

Our stay at this beautiful private wood house was magical. Surrounded by peaceful forest, it was the perfect escape from everyday life. The cabin was cozy, clean, and full of charm, with stunning views from every window. We loved the quiet mornings, forest walks, and starlit evenings by the fire. Total relaxation. Can’t wait to return!

Incredible air bnb experience. Hosts were extremely hospitable (along with their adorable pups)! Place was cozy, remote, clean, and decorated beautifully. Will definitely be staying here again. They also responded to each question within minutes and even reached out to us when we forgot a couple of things and offered to ship it to us if we weren’t in the area. 10/10 hosts and beyond!

The charming cottage and grounds were perfect for our quiet retreat in a beautiful, private, and natural setting. The cottage is tastefully remodeled with obvious loving care displayed in the elegant simplicity. We enjoyed every aspect of each well thought-out and tastefully furnished room. The cottage was spotless and fully supplied. The many large windows provide a feeling of spaciousness that brings the outdoors indoors. The large covered deck provides an appealing outdoor living area. The large and artfully designed kitchen window takes maximum advantage of the mountain-top view. The large rolling grounds are kept in a very natural setting encouraging you to stroll out to the pond or sit and watch the birds and deer enjoy the surrounding forest. The hosts were very communicative, responsive, and pleasant to deal with. The day of our arrival, they suggested an SUV to deal with the very steep paved driveway, just in time for us to switch our rental car to an SUV which worked well.

Stayed here with friends and family for my husband's art opening at Wassaic Project. The location was perfect! Design style of the house was perfect for us and the main kitchen/gathering space was gorgeous. Bedrooms were wonderful, especially the primary with the outdoor shower off the bathroom. We enjoyed two meals on the deck and had more than enough room to spread out in different areas of the home. Each bedroom opened to the deck, which was lovely. Kitchen was the most stocked I've ever experience in any Airbnb. Tons of attention to detail, including the art and extra comfy Parachute linens. It did get a little toasty for us upstairs when we were cooking in the evening but cooled off in the with the deck doors open. We all agreed to a return trip in the future! Just a lovely experience.

The location exceeded all expectations. This is one of the few Airbnb‘s that’s actually more beautiful than the pictures. Serenity at its finest. We were greeted by baby deer and a beautiful flock of birds that set the tone for an amazing weekend. Wineries and walks over the Hudson River are a short 20 minute drive away. Fantastic dining along the Hudson. Steve is a true professional host. He only took five minutes of our time and we figured everything else out. The fire pit was amazing with ample wood. Lake view and waterfall and ruins are even better in person than the pictures. The house is spotless and well designed with 2 incredible bathrooms. No cons. All pros. One of the few rentals I’d come back to.

Lanthe and Josephine’s cabin was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace. The space is warm, thoughtfully decorated, and nestled in such a serene location, perfect for a quiet getaway from the city. Everything was clean, cozy, and exactly as pictured. You can truly feel the love and care that went into creating this space. It was the perfect setting to relax, reconnect, and make meaningful memories. Thank you both for being such gracious and welcoming hosts. We’re already looking forward to returning!
