Sunshine&Whiskey is a fully equipped peaceful getaway in Dunnellon, FL. Minutes from KP hole and the state park at Rainbow River, it was exactly what our family needed to have a relaxing and fun holiday! If you’re a paddler or outdoor enthusiast, this is your spot. This home is also close (roughly 30 minutes) to Devil’s Den and Cedar Lakes Woods & Garden botanical gardens. Check out Beautiful Creatures farm tour where you will not be disappointed, this is for kids & adults! Not to mention, the home was very clean, the host responsive and amenities galore! There are shampoo/body wash dispensers, charging ports on the bedside lamps and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook breakfast, lunch & dinner-multiple times. The backyard is fenced in and private, the pool lovely. The neighborhood is quiet and the back porch poolside is the place to be with a cup of tea or coffee at sunset and sunrise. We stayed at Peter's place with our 15 year old and 1 year old dog. It was a great time for all of us! We used the boat and kayaks and enjoyed the screened porch in the evenings. Our pup loved exploring the entire property. Definitely recommend for a dog trip!

10 out of 10 would recommend! I have traveled all over the US and often utilize Airbnb and this is going down in the books as one of my favorite homes! The house itself is like a time capsule. Lots of antique furniture and nostalgic pieces of the past. But also super clean, comfortable and up-to-date. The amenities are also amazing! Everything was clean, well organized, and ready to use. The main river is about a 15 minute paddle, but it’s gorgeous. My kids said this might be one of their favorite vacations we’ve ever taken! The Neighbor kids even came over and joined us for a game of basketball. All of the neighbors seemed super friendly. The house is also well stocked with things like pans, dishes, silverware, extra blankets, pillows, etc. And sitting on the deck for morning, coffee and to relax in the evening is amazing. Communication with the host was easy and painless. We will most definitely be staying again!

We loved our stay at George’s with our toddler and dog. The house was very clean and the backyard was spacious. Very well equipped home with conveniences not included at all air bnbs, which we really appreciated. We had so much fun taking a few of the kayaks out on the river and also rented a boat, which we docked at the house. Our dog loved all the room he had to run and we enjoyed breezy afternoons and gorgeous sunsets sitting out by the river. Cranes, a turtle and an alligator were all seen from the backyard. We felt immersed in nature while still being a quick drive away from grocery, restaurants and both Rainbow River and Hunter Springs (15 min). My husband appreciated the grill and espresso machine. The only downside is the master shower, which js a bit cramped for a 6’2 guy and near impossible for me to shower without getting my hair wet, so I used the bath/shower in the other bathroom instead! We would stay here again!

Our family had a great stay here. Very close to Rainbow Springs for tubing and kayaking. It was just as listed with everything we needed, stocked kitchen with all essentials including coffee and eggs! Kids had a blast enjoying all the games inside and outside, kept them busy all day. Lots of great outdoor seating for the adults to relax and watch the kids play. We enjoyed tubing on the River- did the 2 hour route starting at the Tubing entrance just 5 minutes up the road- you can’t bring the kayaks to the tubing area fyi. We also took the provided paddle board and kayaks up to the Headsprings- just be prepared to carry them the 1/4 mile to the launch area! Also make sure to grab the kayak seats and paddle board fins from the garage, we are novices and didn’t realize until we got out there that the seats weren’t actually on the big kayak but we made it work and found them in the garage when we got back. Juan was very response to our questions Would definitely book again!

I got was Jacquie’s listing showed and above. I was impressed how her property is well decorated, (quality furniture) comfy and cozy. (The interior design is great) I felt home! Kitchen is incredible! Lots of space. The house has 2 doors access which facilitated us taking our 2 dogs in and out. Jacquie was very accommodating by allowing us to bring our 2 pets. We as nature lovers loved the dock across the street. The street is in a dead end and her property is very safe and peaceful, very private. I’d keep going on and on about good things of the property and the area but I think I described the most important points. We loved everything!

Family of 5 (3 kids) and two dogs from VA. Felt the house was perfect with a great yard and cool trees. The dogs didn’t need leashed and could be at ease with pool access being safe. (My dogs can’t swim) The sheets were real cotton (this means a lot) and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of bedding and pillow options. Kitchen had the basics to cook meals which was easier. The house had everything we needed to have a great vacation other than food to eat. Close to everything we wanted to do. A great trail that was not a commercialized walk where we saw armadillos, manatees, an alligator, bald eagles, snakes and we could hear two owls talking. It was perfection. The swing out back was a nice peaceful touch and I really appreciated the grill. We saw crystal clear water at three sisters while kayaking as well as dolphins at sunset. We took a boat cruise to an island and found more shells I’ve seen in my life. I’d come back again and again. No hoopla where tons of people were.

Perfect location for our plans with local family and friends. We felt totally comfortable like it was our home. No hotel vibes at all. So relaxing and the pool was a fantastic retreat! Clean, spacious, and an amazing host. We will be back!

Great house in the Villages close to many great restaurants. I loved the ability to swim in a private beautiful pool every morning. I highly recommend!

Easy access to the River. Boat dock had plenty of room for my 26ft boat. Enjoyed having the pool and loved the layout of the house. This is a good home for a family or even if you have a few more guest with the split floor plan. The kitchen has plenty of counter space for everything,Enjoyed the stay. Thanks!

We had the most peaceful, amazing stay Henry’s Hideaway ! The house is immaculate, with so many spots for the family to chill out . My 14 year old Grandson took over the game house as his own but i did beat his butt at pool ! The pool is huge and very clean let’s not forget it’s benefit of being salt water ! We cooked out most nights and really enjoyed the lanai . Our Golden Holly was in heaven with the huge backyard 😍. We will definitely be back and thank you Mary for sharing your slice of heaven .

We came into town for just a few days away from Ohio. It was a quick drive to manatees. Also very close to a great downtown area with restaurants and bars. The pool area was even better than we expected! Beds were comfy and the place was very clean. We loved our “Zen” time!

A beautiful space on the Rainbow River, you won’t regret staying here! The home is lovely and comfortable and the location can’t be beat if you enjoy nature and privacy. We didn’t use the guest house for our family of 4 but if we had a slightly larger group it would be a great option to spread out. This is a space for quiet time and relaxation, not to be loud or to party, which we appreciated. We arrived on Memorial day and the river was busy but the rest of the stay there was less boat traffic, just a few casual tubers and kayakers floating by. It has lots of floats and water gear and we brought our own canoe which can easily be launched from the yard. We made some fantastic family memories swimming, fishing and cooking off of the back deck and would love to come back next summer! Thanks!

This house wss everything we needed. Steve was great and made sure we had everything we needed and let us use some kayaks and paddle boards to go out on. Highly recommend and will book again!

My husband and I were in need of a quick getaway. We found Donna's place and knew this was exactly what we were looking for. It was in close proximity of Rainbow Springs (where we wanted to visit) and was pet friendly. The house was clean (all hardwood/tile flooring), spacious (open floor plan), nicely decorated, furniture in great condition & comfortable, fenced in yard for the pups, on the river, and had everything we needed! We enjoyed the quiet evenings out back on the deck & in the screened in porch and the pups loved exploring the yard. We cooked breakfast & lunch at the home and explored the town for dinner. We did not get to use the kayaks or bikes but loved that they were available. Donna answered all my questions and was very accommodating to my dates. I would definitely book this home again and recommend to others! Thank you!

What a peaceful stay. Loved waking up to the horse and goats. Very quiet and my son enjoyed it very much. How was clean and Allison was very accommodating. Would recommend anyone to stay here. Very comfortable.

We absolutely loved this stay! Maria really thought of everything. Whether it was charging stations, kitchen supplies, flashlights, or dog bowls.. one of our favorite air bnbs to date! The game room was very clean and organized. We played a mean game of family fusbol and had s’mores by the fire. Springs are super close and great food at local pup friendly restaurants on the water. Such a beautiful property and home. We will be back!

If you’re doing Rainbow River I 100% recommend staying here. The house was super clean, the host was very accommodating, kind, responsive and helpful. The home is BEAUTIFUL! The back backyard is such a great time since it has the fire pit. The beds were great to sleep in. Felt right at home!!!!
