We loved our stay in the Mai Tai camper and will definitely be coming back! Kirsten and her husband were very welcoming and a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling to Sequoia or Kings Canyon.

NATIVE AMERICAN RM /NR SEQUOIA PARK

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sunshine’s place! From the moment I arrived, her kindness and warm hospitality made me feel right at home. Sunshine is an exceptional host with fantastic communication. She was always quick to respond, thoughtful in her messages, and full of helpful local tips. The property itself is a beautiful, peaceful retreat nestled in nature. It’s secluded enough to feel like a true getaway, yet conveniently located, just a short drive to Kings Canyon and only about an hour and a half to iconic spots in Sequoia National Park like Moro Rock, the General Sherman Tree, and the Congress Trail. Whether you’re looking to unwind in nature or explore some of California’s most majestic national parks, this is the perfect spot. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning my next visit. Just remember to bring enough food, refill gas, and physical maps since there’s zero internet outside her house or in the park.

Savannah the Winery Yurt

We loved our stay at Kirsten’s yurt. We visited in the month of June for a visit to the National Park. The weather was hot (in the high 80s). The yurt has no AC but tons of ventilation and a powerful fan. Also, the weather cools off around 5-6 pm so we were able to sleep very comfortably. We checked in after 5 pm and hung out at the common area, which is comfortable, cozy, and cool. We cooled off and relaxed in the pool. The Airbnb has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. You can also order a bottle of wine from their winery (super recommended). Kirsten has premade charcuterie sets. I loved to be surrounded by nature and cute cats while being close to the market and a delicious coffee shop right across the street. Lastly, Kirsten is communicative and prompt. Highly recommended!

Glamping Sphere/Dome 1 15 minutes Kings/Sequoia NP

I needed a quiet place to stay before a retreat in Sequoia, and this was perfect. Peaceful, surrounded by nature, and exactly what I needed to unplug. The bed was so comfortable I skipped my planned hike and napped until nightfall. The bathroom setup was great, which I really appreciated. Driving up in my Jeep was fun, but be aware the road is rocky; arrive during daylight if your car isn’t built for it. I checked out a restaurant nearby, but it was hosting karaoke and a bit too lively for me. Other dining options are about 20 minutes away. Mike and Di were super responsive, and the whole experience was absolutely worth it. Thank you!

Fivespot Cabin: natural art retreat

HeatherRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This cute older home is cozy and eclectic. The sauna was a big plus after long days of hiking in nearby King's Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. The backyard is private with beautiful flowers. The full kitchen made cooking easy, which is important since there are few restaurants nearby. Purchase food before you come - there aren't nearby stores. The WIFI is slow and there is no TV, but they have plenty of books available. A great place to get away and base out of for the nearby parks!

Manzanita Room in our Barn!

I’ve a great stay at Anna’s place! It was clean, perfectly situated on a country, very peaceful and quiet environment, 30 min drive from national park. I really appreciate Anna’s help with EV charging since there’s no charging stations on the way to sequoias. Highly recommend to anyone!
