Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Dugi Otok

What a wonderful island and what perfect accommodation. We enjoyed our stay in Iž at Maja's place so much. It was perfect for the two of us and it's very well equipped, especially if you need to eat in. We fully intend to return to both Iž and to Maja's place.

We had a fabulous week at Antonijas place. So easy with a pick up and drop off to the airport as we didn't have a car. Bus to Zadar just a short walk away. The accommodation is gorgeous, super clean, spacious and so peaceful - loved the stone walls! Everything was great. Sukosan is peaceful and very clean with a couple of little supermarkets to get stuff you need, and plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out. Thank you Antonija and family - highly recommended!

Absolutely recommended! The garden and direct access to the sea are a dream, inviting you to swim and walk (or jog) by the water. Everything was very clean and the linens and sofa cushions smelled particularly fresh. Dubravka is warm and uncomplicated. With the passenger ferry you can visit Zadar and other islands. With the car ferry you can visit national parks on the mainland, but the island also gives you enough options to relax, eat and hike. You definitely need a car. We had a great vacation!

Great location, by the sea, close to a bakery and restaurants, everything you need in the apartment. Quiet neighborhood

A great apartment with a beautiful view of the sea, which you can reach in 1 minute on foot. It is also great that you can rent a stand-up paddle. Communication was friendly and warm. It was a pity that we only learned on the day of departure that we had to pay a surcharge for the dogs. When we booked, there was no information about it.

Beautiful, tranquil and like paradise. We were honestly blown away with the setting. Excellent host, beautiful property on the beach.

The place was great. Contact was very good. Check-in/out was easy. The location is great, 1 minute to the sea with beautiful clear water. Minor “issues” were resolved right away. For example, the gas bottle for grilling was empty, we immediately got a new one the next day. Great! It was a pity that the awning was missing on the terrace, so it was very warm there during the day, so we put an umbrella from the pool on the terrace. It was also a pity that (as I think) the cleaning ladies really dispose of everything or take it with them. As a result, the kitchen is completely empty. No spices, no oil/vinegar, no pepper/salt….. Usually I am used to the kitchen having a small basic equipment, or unused food from the previous owner remaining in the apartment. No reason to deduct a star for that :)! Maybe a suggestion for improvement for the future. Still 10/10. Thank you!

Nives' house is a little slice of heaven! The studio was clean, functional and nice. We loved the beach view. There were even kayaks, bikes and deckchairs available. Nives was very friendly and gave us good recommendations! A minor issue, there was construction work and we couldn't sleep in the morning but it should be fixed in July 😊 Thank you to her for this fabulous stay!

The accommodation was fantastic. The communication with Sabine was wonderful and she was always quick to respond. We were able to get to know her, as she was also on site and found her very likeable. She renovated the old house wonderfully and lovingly. Due to the available structure, creaking floorboards are unavoidable, but did not bother us further. We felt very comfortable. Particularly beautiful was the location right on the water and you could jump right into the sea. On site the smaller restaurants were all wonderful. It was a beautiful little relaxing place not frequented by mass tourism. We will be happy to come back.

Tanja and Damir are extremely great hosts! They guided me into the house, there were mineral water, bread, cheese, ham and on top of that olive oil and grappa as a gift. What a welcome! They solved a technical glitch with the Wi-Fi right on site with the help of A1's impressive phone support. I felt very comfortable in the house's house. Really everything you need, even for cooking! The house is the private cottage of the two, accordingly furnished with a lot of appreciation and attention. In the village "Konoba Regula" is more than worth a visit! Nice location, and above all very good cuisine! It also has a grocery store with everything you need and a good atmosphere. Žman was a good starting point for me to explore the whole island. And there's a lot! And then come home in the evening. Recommended!

Cosy flat in the little port in Mali Iž. We were there for a coulple of days in the end of September, and the place was quiet and peaceful. Views from the balcony on the water and the port is all you need :) Bedroom window is facing the courtyard and it was super silent, good night sleep. Kitchen is not big but has everything you need, we cooked and it was ok. The shop is literally next door. Kind hosts. We recommend it!

lovely accommodation in a perfect location. View from balcony was amazing. 3k walk along seafront to Zadar old town or around 4 euros in taxi. Property overlooks a lovely Marina, there is a road in front of property but that did not bother us. 10 min walk to a supermarket which is very reasonable and a little further a lovely beach bar that owners recommended on map in apartment which served the most amazing food at a great price. Lovely welcome drinks and food for our arrival, great instructions on how to access property, overall we had a lovely 4 day break

Lovely small apartment, about 35mins walk from the ferry so reasonable for getting around. The hosts downstairs were very friendly but respectful so felt very private. Loved sitting on the balcony and watching the boats go by

We enjoyed our stay. View from the window is beautiful, children and dog explored the tiny “island” nearby. We have never been in seaside apartment with so well equipped kitchen- there was everything, even dishwasher, mixer, citrus squeezer, toaster etc. and basic ingredients like salt, sugar, vinegar, oil; herbs are growing around the house. There are a lot of cuddling cats on the island and nice hiking trails for us who come out of the season. Ivo welcomed us warmly and was useful when we needed info about doctor on the island- there is doctor in Žman and in Sali. Great vacation overall.

It was a great stay. Great, hospitable hosts. Beautiful place with direct access to the sea. There is a terrace, barbecue, garden, sun loungers, umbrellas on the beach. Dominik and his brother were helpful at any time (rental of bikes, scooters, electric scooters, Łódź, speedboats). Aurelia and her husband were very welcoming, they are wonderful people. I recommend to everyone. Thank you and see you soon 😉

Great place, with a supermarket just opposite and a great view. We had a wonderful time and would come back.

The apartment is great. It has a great view and it's fully furnished. The building is old and the elevator is small but when you go inside the apartment everything is perfect.

Andro is very welcoming and very responsive. He was very available and kindly gave us information. The accommodation is very good and it is well located, it is a highlight. We had a great time. We would recommend this listing!

The place was very well maintained and in a pleasantly quiet location. The pool and jacuzzi were always very clean and there were plenty of free lounging options. In the apartment, everything was as described and everything was well maintained. Radovan was a very likeable host with good English skills, the exchange was easily possible at any time. We will certainly be back!
