Welcome to our super cute cosy cabin situated in the gardens of our home with it’s own separate entrance. We are very close to Portobello, Edinburgh’s seaside and 20 minutes from the city centre, making it an ideal location to explore the beautiful city of Edinburgh and the East Lothian countryside. An ideal base for couples & families, close to Holyrood Park, Arthur’s Seat and with lots of lovely bars & restaurants within walking distance. We welcome well behaved dogs, kids & their owners!

Quite and safe neighbourhood, close to portobello beach and foot of aurter seat and close to city centre. 10 mintues to auther seat close to holylrood palace.

Nice quiet room in central flat

This is a lovely quiet, cosy wee room with a decent sized single brass bed and a nice view over the back gardens. There is a shared bathroom, which I keep as clean as can and a kitchen you are welcome to use if you want to cook or have a cup of tea. The flat is in a quiet residential stair. If you are arriving after 9.00 pm, or leaving very early in the morning, please contact me before booking.

I have completely renovated my garden room to include an en suite bathroom, powerful shower and stylish kitchenette. The room has clever storage and a desk & chair for work. The kitchenette is complete with microwave and fridge. We are in the bustling area of Leith Walk with many pubs and restaurants nearby. Princes street is only 15 minutes walk away.

It was a special experience to stay in this cosy place in a beautiful neighborhood. It's less than 30 minutes walk to downtown, and many buses run frequently. Angela was a kind, loving host, making me comfortable during the day. In addition to the lovely room that has a good view and the clean, modern bathroom, I could use the nice kitchen that looks towards the garden. It felt like staying at a friend's. Everything was lovely.

Nosotros tratamos más con Samuel que con Violeta, pero los dos fueron muy amables, comunicativos, respondían al momento y nos ayudaron con propuestas de salidas y sitios para ver. Tienen una casa súper bonita, además de limpia y ordenadam. Samuel es un tipo estupendo. Compartimos un par de tardes con él hablando de su vida y de la nuestra y también se preocupó por que tuviéramos la mejor estancia posible. Sin duda, si volvemos a Edimburgo, repetiremos.

I really enjoyed meeting Mairi and staying with her family in their home. She was very friendly and helpful, even letting me borrow a flask to take my pre-made lunch out on a day trip. The location was beautiful and private yet also very close to a bus stop with several buses that went into town. I appreciated being able to use the kitchen and laundry facilities as well. This was a great place and a lovely stay.

Première cohabitation de 5 jours en chambre privée chez l’habitant pour nous = très réussie ! Accès à la cuisine et salle de bain sans réserve et comme nous avions des horaires décalés nous ne nous sommes pas gênés du tout! Sinon la chambre est bien équipée avec un lit vraiment très confortable et vue sur le jardin qui nous a permis de voir chaque matin les écureuils faire un petite balade et même un renard ! Extrêmement calme génial pour se reposer après les longues découvertes : culturelles et en plein air avec les nombreux parcs. Grace au bus au bout de la rue il est facile de se rendre rapidement en plein centre-ville surtout qu’il y a des bus très fréquents rarement plus de 10 minutes d’attente. David et Susannah étaient très réactifs et très attentifs à notre bon séjour, avec fruits thé café à disposition. Pas de soucis pour faire des courses avec les magasins non loin ou sur les 3 lignes de bus. Nous recommandons sans problème

We had a fantastic stay with Susanne and Kilian in their lovely home. Susanne was a kind, considerate, and genuinely friendly host who made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was a real treat, with a thoughtful spread including fresh fruit, jams, bread, eggs, and a lovely variety of Nespresso coffees. It was great to see a selection of milks provided to cater for different dietary needs. The room and home were clean, tidy, and impressively well-organised. There were lots of thoughtful touches—locked drawers for valuables, hotel-style shampoo and body wash in the bathroom, and even umbrellas provided for wet days out. We felt very well looked after throughout our stay, and wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

This location was exactly what I needed as a solo traveler - conveniently located to walkable attractions, bus stops, and one of the best local parks in the area was literally right around the corner! Zeb was a great communicator, providing clear instructions and giving me a lot of confidence that all would go well with my booking. The space was clean and comfortable. Thanks Zeb!
