Dit betreft een volledig alleenstaande woning op het zelfde stuk grond als onze huidige verblijfplaats. De recent gerenoveerde woning is uniek door zijn ligging (op een boogscheut van Gent), omgeving (in een oase van rust en groen) en door zijn karakter (een landelijke woning met alle toebehoren). Bovendien bevinden wij ons hier in een prachtige fiets en wandelroute en op 5 minuten van de Leie. Cultuur is hier ook aanwezig op wandelafstand. Denk maar aan het Kasteel van Ooidonk.

Geniet van een heerlijk verblijf in deze rustige woning, gelegen op slechts 15 minuten van Gent. De woning bevindt zich achter ons huis, midden in de tuin, en is omringd door een gezellig terras. Dankzij de vlotte bereikbaarheid en de nabijheid van de autosnelweg is het de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor zowel stadsbezoeken als uitstapjes in de regio. Op wandel- en fietsafstand vind je de prachtige Leie, ideaal voor ontspannende wandelingen of fietstochten langs het water.

In 2023, Leen and Kristof came up with the idea of building a ceramics workshop in their own warehouse, meanwhile it has grown into a hip living/working loft which offers space for meetings, workshops but also as a residence and relaxation unit with 5 beds, a remarkable bathroom and original kitchen, all on the ground floor in a quiet and secluded green area just 5 km from Ghent city center. Kick back and relax in this unique and stylish space. No pets allowed.

Unieke ligging aan de Leie, in het verlengde van de Graslei en rechtover het middeleeuwse Pand met tal van leuke eet-en drinkgelegenheden, winkels en historische gebouwen rondom. Eenvoudige verbinding met de tram: afstappen Korenmarkt of Zonnestraat. De studio bevindt zich op korte wandelafstand. (De prijs is inclusief toeristenbelasting.)

(a bit difficult for bigger dogs, there are stairs to climb) Situated along cycle route 70, in the middle of nature and yet close to the historical cities of Ghent, Bruges, Courtrai and Antwerp. Enjoy the fresh country air! In our street you can hear chickens cluck, donkeys bray and there are even sheep, cows and only kind people.

Every half an hour, bus 12 takes you in 13 minutes from the village square of Drongen to the Korenmarkt (heart of Ghent). With our bikes you'll be there in 20 minutes from our Airbnb.

Here you can fully enjoy peace and nature 5 km from the hip Ghent. The recently renovated house can accommodate 4 (to 5) people. The nice garden (3500 m2) with fire ring and orchard is included. The warm interior was carefully composed, and around the wood stove it is cozy to sit. Kids from 8 years old welcome (babies excluded). No pets allowed.
