Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Downtown, Norfolk

We traveled to Norfolk with our 2 young children and dog, the house couldn't have been better. Everything we needed was provided, including high chair and pack-n-play. We loved being able to travel to the zoo, aquarium, carousel, and great nearby library while we dealt with the rain and unfortunate beach closure. However, we were able to use the convenient beach access provided by the hosts and it was a great alternative. Great communication from the hosts and comfortable stay. Echo what others said about the road noise and construction but we came prepared thanks to the other reviews with blackout curtains and white noise machines.

This house was perfect for our family of six. Our sons are all tall and this house had plenty of space and beds for everyone. The kitchen was great--I did a lot of cooking and everything was provided that I needed--like pots, pans, serving dishes and the like. plenty of grocery stores nearby too. The beach was two blocks away and clean. We had an issue with the freezer/fridge and they were quick to get it fixed the same day--we were so thankful! This place was really great and we would highly recommend staying here.

David was communicative and very specific about about access and process.

We had a wonderful stay this past weekend at Brian’s place. We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed some down time at the house playing air hockey, having a meal together at the large dining table and walking our dogs on the beach (a very short walk away). The dogs each had their own dog bed and the fenced in yard was a plus! Check in/out was seamless and Brian was very responsive with recommendations and answering any questions that we had. The house was very clean and comfortable and provided the perfect space for our family to make new memories.

This place was everything it is advertised to be. It was the perfect fit for my family of 7. The game room was a great addition for the kids!

I can't say enough positive things about Alice and her home. She was incredibly welcoming, and made my entire weekend a delight. Her home is beautiful, and it was a very comfortable stay. But Alice's kindness and generosity really went above and beyond. Thank you again!

Spacious. Lots of beds. Everything you need and easy access to the highway to get around Norfolk and surrounding areas.

my parents and I really enjoyed our stay. They came up from Georgia and I flew in from San Diego for my daughter’s high school graduation. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your memories. Especially with the photo board.Super cool. Beautiful home as well!

The entrance is in the mid-exterior of the car wash where the clients clean their cars. After you park, you have to walk with all of your luggage through the car wash's exterior (amidst client cleaning their cars) and go up many stairs. But when you enter the loft, you are extremely surprised by the beautiful, modern and clean space. Chandler was available every time I needed clarity on instructions. Bring your own food and beverages. There is a pool nearby which is available. Even though there are minimal eateries in the immediate community, there are places within short distance (mall, movies, restaurants) and there is always Virginia Beach.

Amazing host for taking us in on a few hours notice. Clean property with clear rules and easy to contact for any questions. The property even had extra trash bags which was a huge help when needing to clean up before checkout time. I personally haven’t had any other airbnbs with extra trash bags so that was a major plus!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Location was walking distance from the Virginia Beach boardwalk and plenty of restaurants and shopping. Had a great time. Would definitely come back.

Pip was great! She responded well within the normal response time and was helpful with recommending restaurants in the area. She also provided soap which was something I missed in the amenities list. The location is great and the apt was well lit, very clean, and I felt safe walking in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this location as it’s not as crowded than being on Virgina Beach. We’ll be back before the summer is over. One note is that the apt is on the 3rd floor because the ground floor is for parking.

Our stay here was fantastic! Very close to the beach which you can walk to, and only a short drive away from the waterfront that has great restaurants and lots to do! The place itself was clean, quiet and the perfect size for 2 people. If you’re looking for something with great amenities for the size, and in a great location this is it!

This was perfect for our family get away! We had my husband and I our 2 children ages 12 and 1 year and my mother in law. They had even set up a baby bed for my little which I thought was very sweet. We had plenty of space for the 5 of us and wasn't far from things it was very easy to get around once we figured it out. This home was clean and nice, the neighbors were great and nice I only wish we could have told them bye but we didn't see them before we left. Peter as a host was amazing any time I messaged he got back with within great time! Very nice as well! When we come back this will definitely be our go to place!

We loved this space! We stayed the night for a concert in the area and were able to walk to and from the venue which was awesome! We got to the space and everything was very nice and felt like home! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
