Cabin vacation rentals in Douglas County

My family and I stayed at Robin's cabin in Mid-June 2025. The location of this AirBnB has restaurants and cafes all within 5 - 10min walking distance. The lake is also incredibly close < 5min away. The space is great for 3 - 4 people; great for a quick getaway - we would definitely stay here again!

The home was comfortable and as described. We had a good stay and would stay there again.

First off, the place was exactly as described. The location was great, about a 1000 feet above the lake, and the view was spectacular. Scenic drive to shops, the various beaches and other lake sites. The Fox & Hound restaurant is highly recommended.

Comfortable and clean home to spend time in a beautiful place. Kitchen and baths were stocked nicely and we all felt at home in the space. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a very nice weekend at the cabin. The pictures don’t do it justice . It was very clean and perfect for a relaxing stay. We will definitely be coming back.

A fine and pleasant stay at a cozy cabin in the woods. Clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Good communication with the host. Comfortable beds. Tankless water heater means hot water doesn't run out even if everyone returns from a hike and showers before jumping in the spa. High ceilings add an elegant touch. The upstairs gets hot during the summer but the handy provided fans fit into upstairs windows and the house cools quickly. All kitchen cabinets and drawers are full of dishes, pans, utensils, appliances, implements, etc. leaving almost no pantry-room. I was tempted to re-distribute items in drawers and cabinets to make room for grocery and pantry items I had brought, but instead just used counter-space. TVs upstairs and downstairs with clear instructions. Good WiFi. Would certainly stay again.

The house was one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in, it was so clean and well set up. We had two families stay there and there was so much for the kids to do why the parents had some time to themselves. Would recommend this place to anybody and hopefully we will get the chance to stay there again, my wife’s words when we walked in was”wow this place is immaculate”, thanks for a great stay

Had a great time at Sangeeta’s log cabin. The. meadow views and the quietness of the place were the highlights for me. The house is everything you need to enjoy the winter in tahoe in great comfort.

We loved staying the cabin. It was neat and as described. Julia was super responsive. Would definitely stay here again when we travel to Tahoe.

Lisa was very helpful and responded quickly. The house was perfect in every way. In close proximity to tubing, shopping, and state line. The completely fenced yard was a huge plus for our three yorkies who loved every minute of it. All the amenities of home for cooking complete meal or order in as many of the food delivery services were available. We can’t wait to plan our next trip to Tahoe at the Crystal Blue Chalet.

The house is comfortable with everything you need for a lovely stay. We walked to coffee, the beach, and drinks in the evening to see the sunset. Our son had a great time playing in the back yard. Even though it’s very central, the neighborhood is quiet. Thanks Tricia for a great stay!

This place is a really great value, especially compared to some of the other places you could rent in Southlake Tahoe. Yes there are steps, but they’re really nothing much. And the place was very clean for us. With the steps you get epic views.

Absolutely Incredible Stay! We had the most amazing experience staying at this property. The Susan was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The house itself exceeded all our expectations — it was spacious, beautifully designed, exceptionally comfortable, and cozy. The coffee machine was lovely. It was such a treat to wake up each morning and enjoy a great cup of coffee in such a cozy and stylish space. We truly didn’t want to leave. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a top-tier stay, and we cannot wait to come back! Thank you so much Susan!

We very much enjoyed the cabin. We didn’t get to stay long but it was nice that they had games in the kids closet and that it was so close to lake and restaurants!

We were in South Lake Tahoe for a ski trip and stayed at Diana’s place for a weekend. It was very comfortable stay and really clean! We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return !

Edward was a wonderful host, both proactive and responsive. His home was beautiful, and in a quiet serene location that was only about 10 min from where all the activities on the lake were. Highly recommend - we will definitely try to stay here again!

Jason’s place has a great location in south Tahoe - it is around 22 min to the Emerald Bay. This becomes a very important thing for us, so we can visit Emerald Bay before sunset and avoid the crowd. The place is quiet. The only concern about cleanses is that we saw one mouse one night. Other than that, everything’s good. The place can get cold even in summer. But using the heater in the bedroom can solve the problem.

We stayed at Sybil’s place for a week and it was a dream! We loved cooking our own meals, enjoying the sunset/sunrise, and walking to/from Stagecoach. We had no issues with the internet connection and were able to successfully stream our TV shows. The convenience and peacefulness of Sybil’s studio was truly unmatched. We were provided with a handbook before our stay which outlined everything we needed to know. Sybil was also very responsive to our messages. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have imagined a better place to call home for our ski trip.

We were very pleased with our stay here. The hosts were very responsive and checked in on us. The backyard is huge and we enjoyed building snowmen there . It was a quick 13 min drive to the Heavenly slopes, super easy to get there.

Joey was a great host, we loved his place it was perfect for our family. We plan on returning in the future.

Communication and location was perfect! Based on toddler’s nap schedule, I requested an early check in and they were great in helping us get in a few hours early! The house was clean, and was walkable to the lake and the restaurants and shops. It was a tight fit getting our standard pack in play into the room, but worked out fine. The house was comfy and great for our visit!
