Waterfront vacation rentals in Donegal

This apartment was perfect. Great location for local cafe’s, pubs and nature walks. Tramore beach was about 45mins from the apartment and is a stunning beach! Muck n Muffins across the market for breakfast sets you up for your day.

We loved staying here, lovely views. The flat was well furnished and and a well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the balcony due to the weather but it would be have been great.

Marina’s place has a beautiful view of the water and a private beach you can access down a walking path. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs and the place is spacious and very clean. We appreciated the local crisps, homemade cake & milk upon arrival. Marina is a lovely host and even offered to dry our clothes in her home after we were caught in a rainstorm the day before we were leaving. It is only 5 minutes from a market and town making it easy to grab a bite to eat. It is about 30 minutes from Slieve League and I believe it was about the same to Donegal. It is only 10 minutes from the secret waterfall. We found it to be a great location for exploring the Slieve League area and it is a great location if you plan to head north toward Ardara as well.

Outstanding view from the living room window, so modern, clean and spacious. Walking distance to the town and right facing the funfair and beach, the apartment was overall beautiful so clean and fresh, Ian was a lovely host and very easy to communicate with. Will definitely be recommending to others and will 100% be back thank you Ian for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay here - a beautiful peaceful location and cosy interior. Loved the high quality bedding and welcome items were much appreciated as we hadn’t had time to pick up essential for a cuppa. Would recommend to anyone looking for quiet restful stay with parking.

Beautiful private house close to Donegal!

Amazing amazing amazing view and beach right on your doorstep. Very quiet location which we like. House is very comfortable. Kids were delighted to see we had WiFi. Can't wait to go back again.

Mary and Barry made us very welcome into their well appointed home, and gave us lots of helpful suggestions of places to visit and where to shop and eat out. The house was immaculate, with all the ameneties we needed. We had a lovely time in the area and would defiinitely recommend this house for a comfortable stay in this corner of Donegal.

House was very clean , could not fault it in any way . Everything works perfectly as it should , and has everything you need in the house. Very modern and comfortable house in a very convenient location which is not far from letterkenny , with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby . Christine is a lovely host and is very easy going . Check in was very straight forward. I would highly recommend this house to someone and I will definitely stay here again !

We really enjoyed our stay at Stephen's place. The house is lovingly furnished and tastefully designed – especially the wallpaper and tiles are real eye-catchers. In the perfectly equipped kitchen you will find everything you need, almost like at home. The winter garden was a highlight: Even in typical Irish weather, we could enjoy the idyllic location there. The beds were very comfortable, and from the upper room we had a great view directly from the bed. Stephen is a very likeable host and had a lot of good tips for us. Actually, we didn't want to leave anymore – we felt so comfortable. Thank you for the time.

We took a three-week road trip through Ireland and stayed in Airbnb cottages. One of the absolute highlights was our three-night stay at Kennedy Lake House. What a place! The location is simply beautiful – an ideal base for exploring Donegal and the impressive nature in the area. Seamus is a very friendly and thoughtful host. He took the time to explain everything, including the fascinating history of this special house. The interior is authentic and cozy, the kitchen is very well equipped, everything is squeaky clean and the beds are blissful. The garden is also a nice extra asset. Upon arrival, fresh eggs, milk, bread with butter and jam were ready for us – such a nice touch! In short: this is an Airbnb that we highly recommend to everyone. In one word? Fantastic.

We stayed at Pamela’s for my mum’s 70th birthday and it was a beautiful place to call home for our short stay! The house had everything we needed and the views were absolutely stunning. The nearby beach was also beautiful. Would highly recommend.

Shauna was a very good host. Helpful & friendly. Clear instructions and info eg directions, check in etc. Would happily stay again.

Great location and the apartment was perfect for our family of 3 adults and a child. Everything we needed was provided, and there was plenty space to move around. Stairs are quite steep so my father found them a little difficult but no problem for younger people! Convenience shop and diner downstairs and lots of free nearby parking.

Rory's apartment is in a great location, with beautiful views over the Foyle, looking accross to the benone beach. The location makes it a great place to tour Donegal or to take the ferry and tour the Causeway coast. I would highly recommend Rory's place and we will be returning shortly.

Rented both the upper and lower apartments. The upper has a really spacious kitchen and living areas. Much smaller in lower. Both have bedrooms on the street side so if youre a light sleeper bring earplugs if youre renting in season. Location could not be better for us. In the heart of all Dunfanaghy has to offer for pubs, shops, and restaurants. No trouble finding parking on the street. Comforting to have the surf shop staff available had a problem arisen (which it didnt). Both the bunk room above and twin room below would do well for children but would be definitely cramped for 2 full size men.

We were sorry to leave this beautiful view from Claire’s lovely apartment.Everything was clean, comfortable and well organised .There is so much to do and see in this lovely part of the world, including having peace and quiet.
