Lake side house rentals in Diamond Lake

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake home. The kitchen is well stocked for all cooking, plenty of games for the family, and the most incredible patio area. The home was extremely clean and tidy but felt so comfortable for our family. The lake is quite a walk away and we chose to drive down to the walking path each time we wanted to access the dock. We hope to be back again to create many more family memories.

Can’t say enough about this place. Cabin was very cozy and had everything we could need. Very friendly neighbors and a great group of kiddos that mine enjoyed playing by with. Stunning view and access to the water. I will definately stay here again.

This was the perfect spot for a long weekend with 3 generations. Three nice bedrooms with private baths, plus a half bath off the kitchen gave us each our own space. An open kitchen, living and dining area made it perfect for being together. We made good use of the large, eat at island with comfortable chairs. My 89 year old father-in-law especially appreciated the swivel chairs with arm rests to help him get up and down with ease. The kitchen was well stocked with nice pots and pans, but it would have been nice to have more plates and forks, so we didn’t have to wash them between each meal. The kitchens up and down are both large and clean. We brought all of our food for three days, so we had plenty of room to store stuff. My son, wife and two year old daughter were in heaven with the kayaks, row boat, paddle boat and two person paddle board. They even talked us old fogies into getting out on the water. It was a chilly weekend, so the hot tub was great too. Hope to return!

This is a great stay for a couple that wants to be near the downtown/lake section of CDA but not stay in the resort. We enjoyed the seating outside, hot tub, clean and comfortable accommodations, and cutesy quaint neighborhood. We even saw the massive black, brown, and white bunnies and encountered a flock of wild turkeys while driving. Very convenient to Tubbs Hill trailhead and the big park and boardwalk. Ron was very responsive during our stay and gave clear directions- I appreciate renting from owners like him.

I dont often leave reviews but my husband and I brought our 4 kids here for a week on the lake recently and we had the best time. The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed and more. We had a great stay and are really excited to book another trip there soon.

We could tell that Robert and Ellen went to work for us. We had everything we needed and then some. They are thorough, detail oriented and very pleasant to interact with. Splitting the cost with a couple of good friends made it reasonable. First morning saw an owl out of the window out from the porch in the trees. Firs night saw a huge bull moose right under the porch. Looked like he thought it was as his home. Looking forward to visiting again next year.

A rustic, serene, and clean spot to spend a few days! We enjoyed the location and the short walk to the dock. Everything was as described, and our favorite part was the kayak and toys in the shed and relaxing mornings sipping coffee on the porch. You can't beat the sunrise with the turkeys gobbling and bald eagles soaring above. Thank you for sharing this spot with others!

We loved our stay in the Airstream. It was clean and comfortable. Eva was flexible with our indecisiveness regarding renting her stand up paddleboards and communicated the whole way through promptly. We’d stay here again!

We can’t say enough! The location was beautiful, the amenities available to us were numerous, we felt we had good privacy even being on the hosts property, and Calista and Caleb were kind, responsive, and thoughtful about this space. It was an all around relaxing and rejuvenating stay that we hope to have again in the future!

Super unique and awesome stay right on the lake! Great amenities provided, and Nick is the most friendly and helpful host. It is very immersed in nature….so naturally there’s some nature (there’s mice that may make their way in during your stay) but don’t let that sway you, it’s an awesome stay!

Lake Affect Retreat is an absolutely beautiful and stunning home. The pictures don't do it justice. The home is nestled among tall trees and sits just right at the lake's edge. We were able to watch bald eagles and other wildlife while relaxing on the porch. We BBQ steaks, soaked in the hottub, and used their kayaks for a fun filled weekend. Deon and Christopher were excellent hosts; friendly and always available for any needs we may have needed. Her banana bread is delicious and was a kind welcoming. I would recommend staying here! Thank you for your generosity in sharing your space with us.

My stay at this adorable Airbnb home with a partial lake view was nothing short of delightful! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, the house was a perfect mix of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for home-cooked meals. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights. Outside, the small patio was a lovely spot to sip coffee and soak in the serene atmosphere. This cute home is a perfect getaway for a relaxing, scenic escape—I can’t wait to return!

I really appreciated receiving many and useful details for her cabin days before our arrival. This reduced my stress and helped me plan in advance. The cabin and surroundings were better than the lovely pictures she has posted on the air bnb site. Emily has taken care to have the house stocked and equipped with so many things that really came in handy while we were there. Hosts were very responsive and answered all our questions in a timely manner. Home was so cute and clean, and big enough for our family. Had to walk just down the hill to the lake, which the kids loved! So nice and peaceful. Would definitely recommend. Going to Silverwood in September and will be staying again. Thanks Cathrine! This was one of the coolest and best airbnbs I have stayed in. It was super unique and a really tranquil experience. I would recommend to anybody looking for an outdoor glamping experience with all amenities on a great property.

What a gem! It’s really amazing to stay in a place where such a beautiful lake view just surrounds you! It’s new, and the design really does feel luxury. Jackie and her husband were great hosts and had plenty of local recs, including for dog-friendly places. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay at this modern barndominium! Tucked away in a private and peaceful location, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and charm. The space was thoughtfully designed with every amenity you didn’t even realize you needed—everything was so well-equipped and convenient. Our group of five had more than enough room to relax, and the accommodations were incredibly comfortable. One of our favorite parts of the stay was sipping coffee in the early morning while watching deer and turkeys wander through the property—truly a serene and special experience. The host was very responsive and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again!

This is our 2nd stay and I'm grateful that it was available. Jim is a great host accommodating my schedule to check-in and out as well as providing some extra services to meet my needs. The place is very clean & quiet. It is near good hiking areas and close enough to restaurants without being too close to town. If you are looking for a quiet place away from the City with lots of wildlife roaming by, Jim's place is the best!
