Vacation rentals with breakfast in Devon

We booked a 3 night stay in the week. Harry’s place was fantastic. He supplied enough breakfast items to feed a few people, which was such a bonus . The house was lovely, really homely and comfortable. Our pooch was catered for too. Some really beautiful walks from the house into the woods, which we all enjoyed. The coast was about 30mins drive, which we did visit. One thing to note, some of the local restaurants/takeaways were not open until midweek which wasn’t a deal breaker but good to know. The Pig at Combe was a great place to visit and eat, dogs allowed in the Folly, highly recommend. Communication from Harry was great and we did get to meet him as they only live next door. We would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed here for the weekend to visit family. It is a very clean, well appointed home with lovely bedrooms, furniture and a homely kitchen diner. J was very quick to respond when messaged. We would have no hesitation in staying there again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it enough! Although it’s a new listing, it honestly felt like it had been hosting guests for years. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home with all the thoughtful touches the hosts have put in place. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need—right down to breakfast items and toiletries. It’s clear that the hosts really care about providing a welcoming and personal experience. The property is nestled down peaceful country lanes, offering a tranquil escape, yet it’s just a short drive from Taunton, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and even takeaways. It’s the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience, making it an ideal retreat where you have everything you need right on your doorstep. Fantastic place, beautifully decorated with attention to detail, and very quiet and peaceful. It had everything we needed, even breakfast was provided. It felt like home, and will definitely return if we have the chance.

The quality of the accommodation and the friendliness of Phillipa and David were exceptional. I made use of a shared kitchen to cook breakfast and dinner, Phillipa offered a dining room to eat in so as to have privacy if I wanted it. The bedroom and shower were immaculate. Overall a fabulous weekend.

Me and my partner stayed the night here, we had everything we needed, Maggie was so friendly and helpful, giving us lots of recommendations and super responsive! Location is quiet and peaceful, we also loved the complimentary teas, coffees, breakfast things etc. We had everything we needed! Thank you so much Maggie x

We had the most wonderful weekend in Lyme Regis, and Tess's house was the perfect home from home in an ideal location. Not only did the house provide everything we needed, she laid out a cream tea for our arrival and the girls were very excited by the toys in their bedroom. We spent our days exploring and evenings on the beach where not only a seal spent the night in the bay while the girls paddled but we also spent an hour watching a dolphin jumping out the water. The apartment was prestine, modern, cosy, comfortable and had everything that was needed. Lovely little touch of fresh orange juice and some breakfast bits. The bed was comfortable as was the sofa. Smart tv so able to watch some tv. 30 min walk into city centre which was a pleasant walk. Couple shops a few mins away. Amazing shower! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, wish it had been longer than one night! Thank you so much. I hope to return sometime.

A wonderful place with everything and more you might expect, including breakfast provisions and a fab local pub where we had an evening meal. Definitely recommend!

We had an excellent stay here in Newton Abbott! Mike and Anna were really lovely and responsive. Looks like the pics and is a good size for a group of friends, beautiful decor as well. Would definitely go back!

Nice compact apartment, but with plenty of space for the two of us and our large retired guide dog. Very well equipped with absolutely everything you need. Loved the breakfast supplies, containers of breakfast cereal, bread, spreadable and milk. But worth mentioning that there are quite a few steep steps down to the property.

Perfect 2 day stay for a wedding in the area. Kairen was super quick to respond to any questions and offered early check in if needed. Lovely place with every amenity we could have needed including a magical milk frother and some very thoughtful welcome snacks which were much appreciated after a long drive! Kairen was incredibly friendly and a delight to chat to, the majestic Percy the cat was also a particular highlight. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area, thank you again!

I felt more than welcome the moment I arrived, both Carolyn and her husband (teddy I think!) were so kind and helpful. I’d come down to cycle and see a friend. On arrival I realised I’d left part of my bike at home. The hosts literally went above and beyond to help ensure my disaster was solved and I can’t thank them enough. The Airbnb was delightful, beautiful surroundings and perfect location, totally private yet so near all you could need. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending a stay there and will be back, of that I’m sure!

Just to say we had a lovely stay at Christine’s which was local to our family to visit. Had a lovely time and the home spotless. Christine was always on hand for any queries. Thank you for the welcome pack of tea,coffee and chocolate biscuits and essentials in the fridge (Milk and butter). We will certainly be returning later in the year. Thank you for making us welcome.

Had a wonderful stay at Mary's Annex studio -comfortable with all the amenities as in the listing. The place was pristine clean! Bonus points for the kids play area and breakfast was sorted out by the well stocked kitchen. Mary and family were lovely!! Highly recommend the studio to explore the Dorset coast.

We enjoyed our one night stay. Communication and breakfast were both excellent. The bed was really comfortable. Just a shame we weren't there longer. Thanks for a nice stay.

We wanted a last minute place for the bank holiday and what a wonderful place it was! Julia’s farm was lovely the setting was amazing. Peaceful, stunning views and lots of friendly animals. Julia herself was a great host nothing was too much trouble. Everything from showing us around, tips with the hot tub and ideas for what we could do throughout the days. We’d love to go back for a night or five. Would highly recommend

We stayed at Caroline’s beautiful B&B for 2 nights for a wedding in the area. Caroline was so helpful and friendly ahead of the check-in and really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome on arrival. The super king en-suite bedroom was full of charm, had breathtaking views and a very comfortable bed! The breakfast was lovely and non-dairy milk was available as I had requested. I would highly recommend Caroline’s place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

We can only praise the short stay we had with Shan and her family. Beautiful place . Everything we needed and more . The most friendly of people too . Breakfast was really lovely as well . Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again .

Carefully appointed rooms with lots of thoughtful additions, a delicious breakfast provided, checked in often to see if I needed anything, and helped with what to do locally. I had a fantastic time here.

Rachel was communicative, friendly and relaxed. She was up for a chat (and really interesting to chat with!), but also happy to leave me to it when I wanted time to myself. The house was really quiet and the area very beautiful. Recommend!

What a truly wonderful place to stay! Sian’s annex is absolutely beautiful with such thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers, copious amounts of delicious food for breakfast including jams, yoghurts, porridge, fresh orange juice and fresh fruit. Sian brings warm croissants too! We loved having breakfast on the patio looking over the stunning large garden. We felt very spoilt and so well looked after throughout. The annex is very private and the view over the Axe Valley certainly gives this gorgeous property the WOW factor. We slept so well in the large comfy bed with lovely crisp bed linen. The annex is very well furnished, with lots of storage space and opulent fluffy towels. The location is perfect for exploring Dorset and Devon, a short drive to the centre of Lyme Regis. It also has the added attraction of a great pub (lovely food!) and the nicest farm shop and cafe within a few minutes walk. Can’t recommend Sian highly enough. Perfect!
